Relatively Positive Things with Andrew Cannon
Adam Fuchs aka LilFuchs on being an animator, overcoming grief and the importance of individuality
I met Adam a handful of years ago while working for Santa Cruz Skateboards. We were looking to get some animations done for the upcoming Full Length we had been working on called, Right to Exist. Joe Perrin and I ended up talking to Ira Ingram who told us he had a friend that could help and that friend worked for Adult Swim, which we thought was incredibly cool. Enter the world of Lilfuchs. Since then Adam and I have shared over a decade of friendship and worked together on most of the bigger core SC projects throughout the years. Today I am excited to share this conversation where we discuss how he found his love for animation, working through a decade of grief over the tragic loss of his brother and why being an individual will always be the way to go. Kelly Hart on being pro, working in the industry and how one trick changed his life
Ive had the pleasure of working along side Kelly Hart in some capacity for the last handful of years. We in skating know him as the guy who did the fakie three flip fakie manny on the courthouse and has the best laugh on the Nine Club but how he got to this point is a different story entirely. With two decades of skateboard industry experience Kelly breaks down how he started skating, battling big injuries and gives some great advice to folks trying to make it in this world. I hope you enjoy!
