Krushe të Vogel #ICTY Velika Kruša massacre - Krusha e Madhe The Krusha e Madhe massacre is one of the massacres carried out by the Serbian Army during the Kosovo War on the Albanian civilian population in Kosovo . The massacre was carried out on March 25, 1999 in the village of Krushë e Madhe , near Rahovec , one day after the beginning of the bombing of Yugoslavia by NATO , and left about 243 victims, while 63 of the victims remain missing. According to one witness, Serbian forces planned to massacre 500 people. According to Albanian witnesses , a special police unit entered the village, separated the men and boys and killed them. Then, the women and children were forcibly removed. Evidence about a Serbian massacre of 112 Albanians in Kosovo (part of the former Yugoslavia) on March 25, 1999. One of witnesses of the murder was British journalist John Sweeney, who was in the place of the murder in that time, saw disposal of dead bodies in the Drini river, and later was an important witness of the trials of Krusha massacres. Radosavljevic has also denied taking part in the cover-up, for which he too has never been indicted.
