I’m back! It’s been a whole year since my last episode, and what better way to return than with a full rewatch of Scandal. 🍷 From Olivia Pope’s power coats to all the wild plot twists, I’m sharing my favorite moments, what hit differently this time around, and why this show still pulls me in. Think of it as a catch-up chat, laid back, fun, and long overdue.
This episode is the first of this series talking about the depression and anxiety I experienced in my 20s and some triggers that I have been introspecting on Later episodes, I will talk about diagnosing and the things I have been doing that help.
The title is a self proclamation lol, I don't actually think she had a favorite but this episode is dedicated to discussing the relationship I had with my mom and sharing how grief changed my life for better. I also spoke about how to heal as an adult, you have to heal the inner child which includes you digging into a lot of childhood trauma.
We all have experienced the heartbreak that comes from breaking up or ending friendships. Almost hurts more than romantic relationship so lets spend this episode discussing the root of one of mine and what I realized about myself. Self acceptance is the most important lesson from this video. Thank you for listening and watching
In this episode I share my personal journey through dating in my 20s and the sacrifices I made for love. From prioritizing relationships over my own needs to losing sight of who I truly am, this experience taught me valuable lessons about self-worth and self-discovery. Join me as I reflect on the highs and lows of dating, and how I finally found myself amidst the chaos.
Unexpectedly losing my job was a roller-coaster of emotions. In this video, I share my personal experience, the challenges I faced and the strategies and mindset that helped me overcome this difficult time. I hope my story can provide support and inspiration to others going through similar situations. There is light at the end of the tunnel
This episode I shared personal updates on whats been happening with me including anxiety about my work and existential crisis on where life is headed
In this new series not necessarily consecutively, I will be drilling down and gisting on some of my heartbreaks including friendships lol.
Keeping it very light henceforth. This week, we are catching up on my high school romance, content creation and happenings in Nigeria.
Welcome back from Holiday. So excited to be back today for Week 1 of RBS. This year, we will be doing both audio (on spotify) and video on Youtube to give the people visuals (since Beyonce wont do it). This first episode is simply catching up since the last episode, birthday blues and setting expectation for the year. I also talked about how beneficial it is to have a theme of the year to help drive your year so that you are not overwhelmed with all the goals no matter how tiny they can be. Looking forward to more episodes. Check out the podcast on spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/3UlzwKCBjaTBvW01dYybDg?si=50006a58329e4d1e instagram - https://www.instagram.com/salmat.k.o/

This week was a solo episode just catching up and reflecting on my 20s journey with you guys. I figured I get to speak less when I have guests but I really ddnt want another week to go by without talking to you.
As my 30s approach, I thought it will be fun to catch up and reflect on my 20s away from home.
Thank you as always for listening
WOOOOOOHOOOO, First in person guest. Spoke with my friend Jonathan on his journey moving to the US and choosing Okhlahoma. I had fun recording and editing this episode truly.
Apologies for the delay, I was under the weather last week and could not get around to editing. Evem through this week, it was a struggle.
Last weekend, I caught up with one of my closest friends and we spoke about her experience with moving to NY.
To be very transparent, Lost the audio at the end (the ridiculousness of recording remote) but I did not want the first 40 minutes not to be heard. Will record with Chinwe time and time again as this will not be her last time on RBS.
Also for another week, THANK YOU ALL FOR LISTENING
Only right to have my womb mate and in built bestie as my first guest/cohost.
Apologies in advance for my audio setting in this episode, we recorded this as a live set up because we are on two different continents and unfortunately for me, my internet decided to act a mess.
Regardless, this was the most exciting conversation with my twin sister about her multiple moves. I believe she ate me up on this episode but truly just had a good time catching up and will most definitely have her back.
Unfortunately, Everyone has that moment where they decided enough was enough with Nigeria.
