We recap some events of the last months. We went to Manu&Raffi wedding. We also went to explore Madrid... As our project in Bhutan is ending, we are trying to figure out what and where next!! Finally, Nora tested a Faraday cage (a scary episode).

The Dochu La (Dochu Pass, la means pass in Dzongkha) is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan on the road from Thimphu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as "Druk Wangyal Chortens" have been built by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother.
Siamo andati in Bangladesh! Siamo riusciti a realizzare il sogno di portare i ragazzi nel il posto dove ci siamo conosciuti..qualche anno fa! Viaggio impegnativo, ma e' stato bello reincontare persone che non vedevamo da venti anni, conoscerne di nuove e sopratutto rivedere Grameen Bank!

Some experiences in Punakha and some beautiful birds, the black-necked cranes (Grus nigricollis) that are winter visitors of the Phobjikha Valley in Bhutan during winter months. Thanks to their presence the Phobjikha Valley is protected. Since many activities are not allowed, the government is trying to support the tourist economy.
You'll also discover that TVs are not part of the hotel's furnitures.
It's Sunday Morning and we talk a bit about the food in Bhutan from our balcony! We thought the spring arrived but it was just kidding with us! This was a month ago and cold still stayed with us, now may be she'll manage it (the Spring)!

Following up his Oscar-nominated debut film “Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom,” Bhutanese filmmaker Pawo Choyning Dorji’s “The Monk and the Gun” is a droll political satire set in the year 2006 as the Kingdom of Bhutan transitions towards becoming the world’s youngest democracy. Lusciously lensed by cinematographer Jigme Tenzing (our new friend here!), the ensemble comedy examines how the country’s upcoming mock elections affect the titular monk, a rural family, an election official, and a desperate liason from the city, all of whose lives collide in minor and major ways.
The Ancient Trail or the Ancient Takin Trail is one of the shortest and most beautiful trails in Thimphu, the trail starts from upper Motithang and eventually ends near the Takin enclosure gate.
This is our first, recorded during a short trek to a monastery within the valley of Thimpu, our new house for the next few years. With us was our cat Ray that was welcomed into the temple.
