This podcast is for you, a parent, a friend, an educator, a passer-by. Parenting is hard. And today, it seems that everything is extremely polarized. Doing your best isn't enough, and there is always someone telling you the "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts" of parenting. My goal is to show that parenting is not a one size fits all. Parenting is - and always will be - the most personal and context-related experience. Even the parent you are today won't be the same as the parent you will be tomorrow. So why should parenting be such a strict rule-based path? I will be here every week on Wednesdays.

Ep. 5 - You can’t control what people say to you, but you can control the way you react to it

A few weeks ago, almost a month ago, something happened. I talk about it on this episode and I hope it inspires you as it inspired me.

On the podcast I recommend two podcasts that have been helping me a lot lately and they are:

- Stoic Coffee Break

- The Daily Stoic

Check them out and follow them for more information on Stoicism.

Ep. 3 - Perspective, and how it can magically change your outlook

The art of shifting your perspective on something is probably the best tool you'll have on your parenting tool belt.

It needs work, it needs practice, but it's life changing.

Ep. 2 - The Christmas Lights Tantrum Experience

On this episode, I get a bit emotional as I share a failed attempt to have a surprise, fun, experience with my 2 1/2 year old.

I was caught in a not-so-enjoyable situation with her and it took all my conscious effort to power through it. I'm sharing this because it's something that I know is important to hear, especially during hard days.

We can all do better. We can all choose to be better as a person, a parent, a friend, anything. And when it comes to our kids, this is an absolute necessity. My train of thought, the one that I shared on this episode, is often not the one we tend to follow. But it is something we can work on. It's really like a muscle. If you consciouslly think about it often, it will become your greatest ally on your hard days.
