Challenges to Bipartisanship in America

In this second episode of Panthers Talking Politics, former congressmen David Jolly and Patrick Murphy discuss the current challenges to bipartisanship in America as well as their upcoming book, A Divided Union: Structural Challenges to Bipartisanship in America. 

David served as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 13th congressional district, based in Pinellas County, from 2014 to 2017. Patrick served as the  U.S. Representative for Florida's 18th congressional district, which contains the whole of Port St. Lucia and Marian County as well as the northeastern part of Palm Beach County.

Their upcoming book, Divided Union, delves deep into ten pressing political challenges that Patrick and David have identified over their multiple terms in Congress and that continue to plague the American electorate today. It is scheduled to come out Tuesday, October 27.
