Who Can Roll Away the Stone? Only Jesus
The hopes of His followers died when Jesus died. He was taken from the cross and Joseph of Arimathea wrapped the body of Jesus in a linen shroud and laid him in his own tomb. Mary Magdelene and Mary, the mother of Joses saw where he was laid. The women brought spices so that they could anoint his body. There only thought was "Who can roll away the stone for us?" We can ask the same question today. Who can roll the stone away for us? Who can break the power of death for us? Only Jesus can. How? Because he broke the power of sin and death when he rose from the dead. Time: Morning Minister: Rev. Daniel Ventura Texts: Mark 15:42—16:8 Series: Mark-Easter

The King in My Place
Jesus stands before Pilate innocent of any wrong doing. He does not defend himself. He opens not his mouth. When Pilate asks who shall be released as is the custom at Passover. The cry goes up "Barabbas"! A rebel, a criminal and a murderer. Jesus who did no wrong with take his place on the cross and Barabbas will go free. So it is with all those for who Christ died. Beautiful Works of Faith
In this sermon we consider the three criteria for good works: they must be done in faith, follow God’s will, and be for God’s glory. Also, from Ephesians 2:8-10 we see the power behind good works, the parameters of good works, and the purpose of good works. Time: Afternoon Minister: Rev. A Little While: The Blessing of Christ's Absence
We might often think that the ideal time to live in would be the time of Jesus. It would be wonderful to walk with Him and hear Him teach. Jesus told us that it would better for us if He went away. Why is the absence Jesus a time of blessing for the world? Today's message tells us why we are more blessed by His absence. Time: Morning Minister: Rev. No Cheap Seats in God’s Kingdom
Discipleship comes at a cost—there are no discount tickets in God’s kingdom. In this sermon, pastor Taylor unpacks 1 Corinthians 6:1-11, where Paul rebukes the Corinthians for treating grace as if it were cheap, living no differently than the world. He calls them to three realities: 1. Suffer Wrong for Peace – True disciples prioritize unity over personal rights, following Christ’s example of humility. 2. Be Warned of Judgment – Cheap grace is an illusion; unrepentant sin is incompatible with the kingdom of God. 3. Remember Your Washing – We are not who we once were. The gospel transforms us, calling us to live as those bought with a price. Grace is free but never cheap. Join us as we unpack the costly call of following Christ. Time: Evening Minister: Rev. Taylor Kern Texts: 1 Corinthians 6:1–11 Heidelberg Catechism: Lord's Day 32 Series: The Three Pillars of the Christian Faith

The King on His Knees: Jesus' First Upper Room Lesson on Gospel Culture
Jesus, the King of Kings, does the unthinkable on the night before His crucifixion—He kneels to wash His disciples’ feet. In this stunning act of humility, He redefines greatness, showing that true leadership is found in service. Though Peter resists, Jesus persists, teaching that we must first be served by Him before we can truly serve others. In a world obsessed with status and self-sufficiency, Jesus calls us to lay aside pride, embrace vulnerability, and follow His example of sacrificial love. Will we let Him cleanse us? And will we, in turn, serve others as He has served us? Time: Morning Minister: Rev. Taylor Kern Texts: John 13:1–20 Series: Gospel Culture in the Upper Room
