This All Hallows’ Eve, Lisa steps out from behind the mic—not as the host of Only God Rescued Me, but as a survivor. In this unscripted and unfiltered episode, she shares raw reflections from the heart: the hidden grief survivors carry while the world celebrates costumes and candy. Short, gentle, and deeply real—this episode invites you to listen, reflect, and see survivors with compassion.
Brandy Young has spent years advocating for survivors of human trafficking. Her work took an unexpected turn when a survivor of ritual abuse disclosed her story. Unfamiliar with the concept of SRA, Brandy began researching and educating herself to provide informed, compassionate support. As more survivors began to come forward, Brandy recognized a pattern—and a need for awareness. She believes that, just as society has gradually come to understand sex trafficking, it must now begin to acknowledge and address the realities of ritual abuse. In this episode, Brandy shares her journey, her advocacy, and her deep commitment to helping survivors find healing and hope. You can connect with Brandy at www.brandyyoung.comYou can connect with Brooke Abella at www.quietwatersrestoration.comOnly God Rescued Me: Website: www.onlygodrescuedme.com Contact Lisa:lisa@onlygodrescuedme.comTo help support this podcast: PayPal @Lisa453Venmo @lisameister4242 Square https://square.link/u/kQLAozvVBuy Me a Coffee https://buymeacoffee.com/onlygodrescuedme.com

Undocumented children are quietly disappearing from Delaware classrooms — and one teacher refused to stay silent. When educator Wendy Mears began asking questions, she was met with intimidation and disciplinary action instead of answers. If thousands of documented children go missing each year, how many more are uncounted? In this gripping interview, Wendy speaks out about what she’s seen, the price of telling the truth, and why this story matters far beyond Delaware.⚠️ This is an episode that demands attention — because if children are missing in Delaware, how many are missing where you live?Contact Wendy Mears:wmears5409 @gmail.com wmears @protonmail.çom https://wendymears.substack.com/Only God Rescued Me: Website: www.onlygodrescuedme.com Contact Lisa:lisa@onlygodrescuedme.comTo help support this podcast: PayPal @Lisa453Venmo @lisameister4242 Square https://square.link/u/kQLAozvVBuy Me a Coffee https://buymeacoffee.com/onlygodrescuedme.com

Lisa Gillard tells her story in today's podcast. Parts 1 and 2 of her interview painted the picture of how the abuse has affected her life, thereby creating a cry for justice that has spurred her to reach out for someone who would help her achieve it. It has also given her a heart to help other survivors along the way. Join me today in honoring LIsa's story as a compassionate listener. We have been slowly working our way through Lisa's story. In part 1, we discussed how Lisa has experienced flashbacks, triggers, medical conditions directly resulting from trauma, financial strain from therapy, and managing the loss of family and friends. Today, we discuss managing the mental health industry, understanding malevolence, look at the crimes involved in the group, discuss the cry of injustice, and the resulting need for justice. This paints the picture of the life Lisa has lived, and thereby the lives survivors, in general, have to tolerate. In part 3, Lisa will finally get to tell her story. Lisa Gillard is a good friend who graciously gave mecreative license to play with her story to present it a bit differently than I normally do. What we created was a picture of the life of a survivor. Lisa vulnerably shared the gritty day-to-day challenges survivors face to brave the past and the present in an attempt to deal with the criminality of ritual abuse, the malevolence of the abusers, the toll of the abuse on the mind and body, as well as the stigma of society she bravely faces as she wages her social media campaign. I hope you find this interview as intriguing as I did. Thank you, Lisa, for your trust. You have my permission to pay me back later. A shout-out and a big thank you to Monique Koven of “The Healing Trauma Podcast” (check the podcast out if you haven’t, lots of healing resources to be had there) for introducing us years ago, and for making today possible. This is part one of a two-part series.

Sharon grew up in what can only be described as a life of trauma. Her mother didn’t want her. Her father was distant. She grew up without love and filled with shame. She began drinking at thirteen to numb the feelings she couldn’t begin to describe. When she tried to kill herself at seventeen, a voice told her to try to hang in there because it couldn’t get worse. She listened to the voice, even when the memories of sexual abuse and ritual abuse came in. Sharon’s journey is rough, but also filled with her joy and love of God. You won’t want to miss this episode.

Adrian felt called to visit Jerusalem. He couldn't visit many places while there, but was looking at a valley when a stranger walked up to him to tell him it was the Valley of Hinnom where they sacrificed children. Where did this man come from? Why did he tell him that? Follow Adrian's journey as we hear of God's love for us as the Valley of Hinnom connects to Jesus' walk to Golgotha. Jesus definitely had sra on His mind and the cross had everything to do with it. This interview shows of God's great love for survivors and is a must hear. Samantha's heartbreaking experience of losing her two young sons to her husband's involvement in a cult has been chronicled in her debut book, "Everything is Going to Be Okay." Ever since, she has been actively advocating for the return of her boys, battling against the court system. In her latest book, "Pretended Justice," she delves into the flawed justice system and highlights the urgent need for reform to protect children from Satanic ritual abuse. As a voice for countless families who have suffered similar injustices at the hands of supposedly protective government agencies, Samantha raises important questions about the lack of accountability. How can we effectively address the issue of SRA if no one listens? Through her compelling personal account, Samantha has been given a platform to bring about change. Let her story be heard and awaken the public to the reality of SRA.

Kadaya packed up two outfits for a two-week seminar to figure out the SRA flashbacks she was having, only to be served with divorce papers that included no contact with her young children. The divorce left her with nothing. This is the life of a survivor who lives in a cult town and refuses to follow the cult's mind control. Kadaya chose to follow God and truth. Now she also has her podcast, "The Quickening Project," where she speaks out and creates beautiful worship music. This is a tough story, but important to hear how a cult town works.

When the police showed up at Anita’s door to tell her she was a survivor of abuse by a priest, she had no memory of it. She also had no memory of the school where it took place. She also couldn’t remember the home she grew up in. These were more pieces of the puzzle in Anita’s life that didn’t go together and made no sense. Her sister gave her a few sentencefragments that left hints of shared abuse, but a wall was placed where she could not pursue that further. Holocaust dreams, rapes, shunning from family, and the inability to form lasting relationships all kept her in confusion. Follow Anita’s fascinating story and how God came through to rescue her in waysonly He could. Anita’s book is below, with my AF link. It does not contain her SRA story, but chronicles the rest of her life.

Jessica grew up in a “normal Baptist family.” She was aware of the dangerous, toxic family system she grew up in, which also adopted many of their foster children. But her childhood was a trick. This was also a family of generational occultic practices. The family system came down hard on Jessica when the flashbacks started, and she needed to be silenced. Jessica drifted between enforcing boundarieswith her family and allowing them back in. Each time, she lost her peace of mind and had to fight to regain it. The incident with her dad showing her theelectronic box that he had used to electrocute her into dissociative parts finally showed her that she couldn’t chance being around any of her family again. This interview not only follows Jessica’s story, but also her walk with God and the wisdom she shares with other survivors that came from her hard-fought battles.

Rebecca Davis wrote about the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics on her Facebook page and was surprised by the controversy it started. I asked her to come on the podcast to discuss the Olympic's creative depiction of their "Living Last Supper" and what the Christian response has been and should be. What were the SRA elements in that depiction and why is it ritual to have the world watching? I highly recommend Rebecca's "Untwisting Scriptures" series which can be found on Amazon. The after-effects of trauma leave the survivor with the feeling of being stuck in any current event that triggers feelings of pain or suffering. This makes sense with the past horrors of extreme abuse that went on for years with no resolution. One ritual seemed to go on forever. Multiply that by dozens or hundreds of rituals, and you get the idea that they would never end. The safe, adult survivor is still going to feel stuck in the present. Kardia Joi presents us with fascinating ideas that we need to think through to acknowledge this state of being, so we can begin the process of breaking free to explore choice and freedom. God has given us the courage to walk free. He is with us on this complex path of healing to navigate out of this confusion to find all the freedom of a life that we have yet to joyfully experience. It sounds like we have some good things to come!
