SRT and SRT get into V-day. We talk classic Valentine’s Day gifts, money bouquets, first dates, Rom Coms, celebrity crushes and relationships. But above all we talk Kanye West internet controversy! Happy love day to all the beautiful hearts out there. We love you and you are enough. 💕
What’s up Weeklings. This week SRT and SRG dive deep in many direction. Listen as the duo offers live updates and commentary on the world’s ever growing population. SRG gets into therapy talk, SRT talks getting swol, the pair break down texting etiquette, and they both share even more tales of elementary school moments.
Above all, we have a planets talk. Big ones, small ones, smouldering ones, and some that don’t quite make the cut (I’m looking at you Pluto).
Shoutout if you’re here reading this because SRG told you to. You’re the real MVP. This episode SRG discusses a weird consumerist dream, SRT talks her elementary school ghost club, and both share fond memories of winning prizes. SRG breaks down a very condensed and limited history of makeup. and we talk about how miserable non-binary candy is all we deserve. Shoutout to the orange M&M who has been selected as OWAT’s person of the year.

SRT and SRG try to sell you hot pocket perfume, slippers for cats, trucks, and Little Caesars. We make the cutest lil lists, look at a crazy fuckin’ big scary otter, and say some gross shit. There is a lot of laughing that makes some sense after years of carefully and lovingly built friendship, but we think you can enjoy it too. SRT schools SRG on the worlds fanciest crime couple, Bonnie and Clydie! And you know what they say: “Some days are tomato, some days are tomahhtoe. And some days are tomorrow.”
SRT and SRG have the biggest surprise for you. Bigger than a puppy on Christmas. Bigger than a mouse in your shoe. Bigger than Mariah Carey coming to your neighbours engagement party. Listen, and I mean listen for this HOT HOT HOT content. We also talk about how The Big Bang is G.O.A.T., What you would do if you found out you were The Patriarchy embodied, and SRT reveals herself to be a Tube Earther. Oh.. and also we touch on every Eon of Geological History that has ever existed…..And yah we know this is a bit like Atlantis but don’t lose your shorts. We will talk about Selling Sunset soon.
Welcome to the first official episode of our new era. The concept has changed but the characters you've come to know and love have not! We are here to share knowledge that you didn't know you needed. More specifically, this week we get WILD about Atlantis. Check out our Patreon to see Video Episodes and a Mini Bonus Episodes each week. https://www.patreon.com/oneweekathing
SRT and SRG are back baaaaaby. We hope you didn’t get too used to us Coming Back because we’re here to stay. We are so committed to this relationship that it will freak you out. We are talking all things 2021 from Kim and Kanye breaking up to Kim and Pete getting together. From F1 to Crafts. From Fake Celebrity Baby Names to hating social media. More of what you've come to love and expect from the most absent unpredictable podcast hosts in your life. Get ready to meet our new sense of purpose and commitment to our Lil’ Weekling fans. Look for us on Patreon coming very soon! Happy New Year!
SRG and SRT finally got their shit together to have a guest! And boy what a guest! And what a Boy! Mikael Johansson excites our ear-holes with tales of personal growth, the Japanese language, and What He’s Been Up To. The crew makes up brand-new-original-never-before-seen-or-heard Greek Myths that could teach your kids a thing or two about how to be a decent human being. There is bad French, good laughs and a lot of interrupting each other. Three people is a lot. SRG is a bit of a jerk and is working on it, but find it hard to listen and be kind when she gets caught up in the comedy of conversation.
TW: In the first half of this episode we discuss residential schools and the recent news about the Canadian g*nocide of indigenous peoples. We have shared some resources in a highlight on our instagram account (@oneweekathing) so check it out for more info!
This week SRG and SRT tell tales of dance, youth, bop it, twist it, pull it, and spin it. Enjoy early wonderings about the implications of race and AI and stay tuned to learn what the gals order at Starbucks and how they feel about Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR. It’s serious, it’s silly. The two co-exist in a challenging dance and are both essential to the experience of life. Next week is duo lingo mon amie!
SRG and SRT do Madlibs live! SRG edited the shit out of them though to make you think we are so smart and fast at thinking of adjectives, adverbs and modes of transportation. The gals sing Beyonce (again!), talk about their disparate experience of doing the splitz/ splatz/ spleetz. The attempt at structure is apparent but remains ineffective! Don’t give up now! This episode could be just what you need to get through the green-jello life we are all living.
P.S. This episode is one day late because it is a long weekend and SRG is really just a tiny baby in a big skin suit who wanted to lie in the sun and not edit a podcast.
SRT and SRG try to introduce structure and segments into the podcast. Structure quickly turns into chaos, but look forward to more attempts at structure in the future! The pair talks periods, BFRBs, French accents, the challenges of their no-screen-week and much more! At one point in time they are both trying to explain how they visualize a human asshole. SRG shares details about her life that are far too personal. SRT rebrands One Week a Thing as The LabBratz. The gals get ready To Do the Splitz. Up Up and Away to the Outer Space of your mind for this weeks episode.
SRT and SRG are really trying to try so hard. It's been months yes, and they are a little rusty yes, but they are not without their vigour and pep and hope for the future. This new chapter brings organization, segments, a return to the pods original concept, games, guests and much more. Join us this week as we try to interact with zero screens during a provincial lockdown.
SRT and SRG hit you with an unusually long episode because it has been a very long time since the last instalment. Much has changed. Time has past. Tears have been shed. The gals break down the last few months with a simple three point update. There are serious moments that are optimally balanced with a funny 10+ minutes of nonsense to close out the episode. We talk animal combos, instagram sadness, candy grams, and the lunar new year. A one stop shop for a full range of SRT and SRG emotions. Will they ever return to the shows original concept? Who knows. They definitely do not.
Don’t Listen with your Kiddos! There are some Christmas spoilers!!! SRT and SRG reminisce about all of their favourite Christmas media and memories. Its a CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR! That is the full description. Enjoy you lil Elves.
This week SRT and SRG actually sort of try? But don’t worry. They also discuss the pressing biological question, “are an animals hips attached to the legs that are closest to the bum hole?”, and they make up several ear-worming jingles for non-existent restaurants, including Red Lobster’s second cousin Lobster Queen. They also share some thoughts on Guitar cases, Cupcakes and Chairs and SRG expresses gratitude that she did not accidentally kill a baby this week, while SRT sings a song about how much she hates her neighbours pool.
SRT and SRG take to the streets!! And then to the sidewalk, and then to a nice little path, and eventually ended up sitting under a dead tree looking at the beautiful adjacent trees. Get a load of the first In Person Pod since the the new era. There are cute dogs everywhere, there is foliage, there are teenagers playing basketball. SRT makes hurricane sounds, SRG tells a story about a Bot she had way tooo long a conversation with. It's a ruckus. It's a hoot. Biden/Harris won the goddamn election and we barely talk about it but that energy is real and present.
Spring and Autumn Chicken a.k.a. the Comeback Queens a.k.a. SR-G and SR-T are in THE BUILDING (a.k.a. their respective homes). They both are really hoping that this whole podcasting thing sticks this time. There is talk of Icelandic horses, imagining deep sea creatures into existence through nightmares, and we plug our friend Raquel's new Podcast! Also stick around to hear what they think about Where and When Birds Go Bad (???). They share what is next for OWAT, and each host gives a very brief and mostly sad summary of how their time in quarantine has been. It's all fun and games folks. Don't you dare miss it. (SR-G has also arbitrarily decided that this is the first episode of season 3)

LIL PODS 4 U is a choose your own adventure fundraiser. SRT and SRG will make a 5 min podcast just for you all about YOU (or whatever you want) if you send us proof that you have donated to an Anti-Racist/LGBTQ+ organization. Send your proof of donation to oneweekathing@gmail.com or DM us @oneweekathing on Instagram.
SRT and SRG pull out an episode from their very recent archives (meaning SRG took way too long to edit the episode and the pressure of it started to weigh on her which only made it harder for her to edit it and the guilt kept her up and night but now finally after far too long she was able to upload the episode.) This dynamic duo is sharing embarrassing stories from their childhood diaries. We discover that SRT HATES the MAN, and SRG wishes that she had better physical endurance. The pair also shares some stories from some of the OWAT community. The whole thing is pre-teen cringey and full of wholesome angst. SRT gives the listeners a sneak preview into a brand new musical drama she is writing, and SRG talks about how sad she is she can't run. SRT shares moving lyrics and band names and SRG sits on the recess field pouting because she is not part of the track and field team. MAKE HASTE! Listen to OWATS 19th episode while it is still relevant! HURRY!
