One MANS Opinion: Episode 277 – Midway
While it’s not exactly halftime of the 2025 NFL season yet, it is the halfway point of the fantasy football season, and Jeff Mans is here to give his takes on everything that has happened so far and what is to come. First off, he reacts to the Baltimore Ravens' fake injury report from last week, the Saints' benching of Spencer Rattler, and his annoyance at QBs who throw short of the first down. Mans gives out his top five trade candidates with the NFL trade deadline approaching, including the best and worst landing spots for those key players. He has his midseason power rankings ready to go, and goes off on a certain team he believed in last week, who now has the biggest drop this week. As always, Jeff counts down his top 10 waiver wire pickups of the week. Then he provides his midseason report card on how his seasonal leagues, DFS earnings, and betting record have fared so far. Finally, it is time for the week nine survivor team and his Ravens/Dolphins Thursday Night bet of the week. It’s “bye-mageddon” time in fantasy football as the NFL sees six teams off in week eight. Jeff Mans is here to help guide us through all of those tough roster and lineup decisions facing us this week. Jeff also gives out his weekly NFL power rankings and wonders why there are only four serious Super Bowl candidates, as he sees it this year. Then it is time for a huge round of “Ask Mans Anything,” where the questions range from fantasy football disappointments to his days of playing music in Chicago to whether it's appropriate to use a bidet in a public bathroom. As always, Mans gives out his top 10 waiver wire pickups, his all-in survivor pick for week eight, and his Thursday Night Football bet for the Vikings and Chargers this week. One MANS Opinion: Episode 275 – Rest of Season Rankings 2025

These are the players that are the most valuable for the rest of the season, taking into account health, schedule, game scripts, and projected fantasy scoring between now and the end of the year. He also unveils his first NFL team power rankings of the year, so get ready to be big mad about how he ranks your favorite team right now. Jeff also discusses the injuries to Garrett Wilson, Emeka Egbuka, and DJ Moore, as well as the returns of Mike Evans, George Kittle, and Rashee Rice. One MANS Opinion: Episode 274 – Six Weeks Ago
Jeff Mans presses the rewind button on the 2025 fantasy football season and reviews how the top 50 overall draft picks have fared so far this season. This leads to some interesting evaluations of players who feel like they are underperforming but aren’t, and others who, on the surface, have been “fine” but are actually tanking us. Mans gives his thoughts on the Browns trading QB Joe Flacco to Cincinnati and who replaces Omarion Hampton in the Chargers backfield. Jeff also updates us on which teams have scored the most fantasy points from their wide receivers so far this season, which outlines the best and worst WR investments right now. As always, he provides the top 10 waiver wire pickups of the week as well as his survivor pick and Thursday Night Football bet for the Eagles and Giants in week six.  Remember to share the show with a friend, hit the like, favorite, heart, thumbs up, subscribe, and comment buttons for this episode!

One MANS Opinion: Episode 273 – 2025 Quarterly Report
The NFL regular season is already four weeks in, and it is time to check in on everything we’ve learned and the results of our fantasy leagues, DFS, and betting so far. Jeff Mans reviews how each of his 16 fantasy leagues is going so far and gives out some strategies that he is implementing in the ones that he is on top of, and for those where his teams are struggling. He also reviews how the DFS season is going so far and announces a change in preferred contest type as a result. Mans also breaks down his betting record so far and uncovers which bet types are working and which have been faltering. Jeff checks in on the running backs across the NFL and breaks down which team’s backfields are producing the most and least fantasy points this season. Injuries to Lamar Jackson, Malik Nabers, and Tyreek Hill are devastating for fantasy managers, so Jeff takes us through how to survive and thrive even after losing key players. As always, he has his top 10 waiver wire pickups of the week, the week five survivor pick, and his Thursday Night Football bet of the week between the 49ers and Rams. One MANS Opinion: Episode 272 – Getting Defensive
This week, Jeff Mans dives into a topic that gets little to no attention early on, and that is defensive matchups. Even though it’s only been three weeks, there are several defenses across the NFL that have identified themselves as being either very good or very poor against the run or pass. The earlier we identify this, the sooner we can make better matchup decisions in fantasy football. Speaking of defenses, you will not believe who the highest scoring DSTs are in fantasy football right now. Jeff goes over the list and wonders why any leagues are still using this archaic position in 2025. Week three has also brought us a ton of injured players. Jeff goes over the injury list for week four and discusses the timeline for each player and who we can count on to replace them during that span. As always, Mans gives out his top 10 waiver wire pickups of the week and even a few tips on getting ahead of the bye weeks that start in week five. Assuming you survived the Green Bay loss last week, Mans also has his survivor contest play and gives out another Thursday Night Football bet this time for the Seahawks and Cardinals. One MANS Opinion: Episode 271 – QB-Mageddon
Six of the top quarterbacks in the NFL are hurt, causing sheer panic in the fantasy football streets. Jeff Mans dives deep into each injured QB and discusses the timeline, real-life, and fantasy impact of each. Mans resets his rest of season QB rankings and contemplates whether scooping up a backup QB is a good idea in this day and age. He also breaks down what happens now in the Washington and Minnesota backfields after injuries to Austin Ekeler and Aaron Jones. As usual, Jeff counts down his top 10 waiver wire pickups for week three and sprinkles in a few buy-low and sell-high players as well. He also looks into the top fantasy performers and each position over the first two weeks and talks about who we can count on and who will fall off soon. As always, Mans has his survivor pick and backup pick of the week. He also gives out his three-team parlay for the Thursday Night Football game between the Dolphins and Bills. One MANS Opinion: Episode 270 – Rewind
Week one is in the books, and Jeff Mans gives out a quick takeaway or two, or three on all 32 NFL teams from their first game of the 2025 NFL season. He also reacts to the news of Tank Bigsby being traded to Philadelphia and what this does for the Eagles and Jaguars backfields. Mans also has some early-season advice for those that are playing in the Guillotine format, especially the first-timers out there, of which there are many. Jeff also presses the “rewind” button to week two of 2024 and recounts the top scorers, waiver pickups, and how they finished the season from then on. As always, he has his top 10 week two waiver wire pickups and a few buy-low players going forward. Jeff also digs into the snap counts for each team's running backs and gives his thoughts on which RBs are trending up and down as a result. As always, Mans gives out his survivor pick for week two and has another Thursday Night Football bet for the Commanders/Packers game this week. Since there are still fantasy football drafts going on, Mans gives out some last-minute advice, including a handful of players who are well-positioned for early-season production. One MANS Opinion: Episode 265 – MANSifesto 25
It’s time to put away the toys and hobbies and get down to business as Jeff Mans reveals his blueprint to winning our fantasy football leagues in 2025. His draft plan or “MANSifesto” is live in print form over on Fantasy Guru dot com, but Jeff provides an audio version here that covers the round-by-round selections. In each round, Mans provides the best values, biggest risks, draft pockets, best upside, and a player he is avoiding. Along the way, he drafts two teams. One that he calls the “perfect draft,” in which, if everything falls perfectly, that is the optimal team. Then he takes the All-Mans Team, which is comprised of players he likes most at those given spots. This week, he also discusses his recent road trip to Las Vegas, the Circa Survivor and Millions contests, and some NFL training camp news. Jeff also does an impromptu scouting report on a running back that is making big waves this summer and who reminds him of another seventh-round RB who broke out in Isiah Pacheco. This running back also comes with his very own self-imposed nickname, so he fits right in. One MANS Opinion: Episode 264 – Training Camp Battles 2025
As we inch closer and closer to the start of the 2025 NFL regular season, Jeff Mans packs another podcast full of useful fantasy football information. This week, Mans is breaking down the top 24 most fantasy-relevant NFL Training Camp Battles and discussing which players and situations he is investing in this season. As promised last week, Jeff has a full breakdown of the most vacated carries, touches, and opportunities for NFL running backs heading into 2025. He also touches on the latest ADP trends around redraft and best ball formats over the past couple of weeks. Speaking of best ball, Mans offers up some of his favorite “best ball player pool breakers” of 2025 this week. These are players who are usually not drafted in a typical 18-20 round best ball draft, but who provide us a massive advantage if we are the only teams who have them even in play. One MANS Opinion: Episode 263 – Targets
A lot of information is jammed into this week’s episode as Jeff Mans takes us through some of the latest news around NFL Training Camp, including updates on Najee Harris, Stefon Diggs, Brandon Aiyuk, and more. Even though it's early, Jeff gives out some of his highest owned players in the Drafters $2.5 million Main Event contest this season. He also updates his 2QB/SuperFlex chart for 2025 and breaks down his top five ideal QB pairings in those league formats. Then it’s time to go over the places with the most vacated targets entering the 2025 season in order to find the wide receivers, tight ends, or running backs that will be stepping up. Mans breaks down the teams with the most targets, red zone targets, air yards, and fantasy points available and identifies some late-round players who are in a very good position for a fantasy breakout this year. Just in case the show has been too “friendly” lately, Mans also whips through a few “hot button” stories in pop culture right now and gives his quick opinions to stir the pot. From Coldplay to cold products, this episode has everything. Remember to share the show with a friend, hit the like, favorite, heart, thumbs up, subscribe, and comment button for this episode!

One MANS Opinion: Episode 262 – Meet Julius Pepperwood
It’s the episode we’ve all been waiting for, where Jeff Mans reveals the secret code name player of this fantasy football season. Mans takes us through the history of how an off-the-cuff gimmick became one of the most anticipated announcements of the NFL calendar year. He reflects on previous years’ decisions and how those results shaped this year’s player. He also discusses why Julius Pepperwood is the perfect code name for this year's player. Then we take a journey through this player’s five-year NFL career and look at all the numbers he has generated going into 2025. Jeff reveals how offseason events have lined up to position this player for a big fantasy season. He takes a look at the current ADP and then uses historical data to show how Pepperwood will easily outproduce that low draft spot. Once this episode goes public, the draft stock is going to rise, but that is all baked into his projection for this season. Remember that from here on out, we do not speak the NFL player’s name and instead call him by his new moniker, “Julius Pepperwood,” at least until our fantasy drafts are done this year. One MANS Opinion: Episode 260 – Jump on the Jets
It is that time of year again when Jeff Mans takes all his offseason work and “puts it on tape” for one team that is going to be the biggest surprise of the NFL and fantasy football season. After a recap of his previous five years of surprise teams, he breaks down the small list of teams that didn’t quite make the cut for 2025 but are worth keeping an eye on.  Finally, he announces the team he is backing in 2025 and breaks down the multitude of reasons, starting with ownership, the front office, a growing analytics department, a revamped coaching staff, and a roster full of plus players at nearly every single position. This episode is full of data points that will support this year’s selection and surprise many listeners in the process. This is also the first time that a team has gotten appreciably better simply by losing a couple of notable key players and coaches. Mans goes game by game of this team's schedule and reveals how a real slow start is going to pay off BIG in the end. If you want your fantasy and betting season to take off in 2025, do the smart thing: Jump on the Jets.

One MANS Opinion: Episode 259 – Optimal Draft Position
Jeff Mans is back with an episode almost entirely devoted to something few basic fantasy football players think about: Draft Position. Suppose you have ever wondered what the best draft pick position to select from in your fantasy drafts is; then this is the episode for you. First, Jeff takes us through the first two rounds of selections according to average draft position (ADP) and asks which player pairings are the best. Next, he reveals his updated rankings from Fantasy Guru dot com and looks at which player pairings are the best in his own mind. Then he plugs in his formula, which he is calling “PADs,” to reveal which draft position this year has the best players available in the first and second rounds. These results will surprise you, but also make sense once you look at the names that are on the board at the time of those selections. Mans also has some choice words for Fanduel, which has changed their terms and conditions after Fantasy Guru members and other MLB bettors took them for over $2 million in one night of betting this week. One MANS Opinion: Episode 258 – Higher & Lower
This week’s episode is stacked with the latest from around the NFL and fantasy football.  Jeff Mans begins with some news around NFL minicamps, including a new running back in New Orleans, the Bengals restarting contract talks with sack leader Trey Hendrickson, and a trial date for Vikings WR Jordan Addison. Mans has also uncovered the new fantasy lovechild in the NFL, a player that, no matter how much evidence is produced, the fans and fantasy players are loving unconditionally. Then it is time for Jeff to reveal a few players that he is higher on right now and a few that he is lower on from a fantasy football perspective. This conversation weaves into a ton of information about the new offenses in Chicago, Detroit, Dallas, Seattle, and Jacksonville. There is even a lesser-known soap opera that played out in Houston last season, right in front of all our eyes, that nobody ever knew until the offseason firings happened. Then there is a deep dive on two incredibly similar wide receivers who are near carbon copies of one another, yet one is going in the fifth round while the other is in or around round eight.
