Story time! The fifth episode of my new info-series all about the live music industry! In this video, I tell a quick little story about an experience that I had on tour a very long time ago, when I was a teenager. Sometimes you really don’t know what someone might be doing on their phone while sitting right next to you.

The fourth episode of my new info-series all about the live music industry! In this video, I talk about “dating on tour” in all of the ways that the phrase can be interpretted. Starting with a disclaimer about misogyny in the music industry and how it affects women’s relationships with the people they’re on the road with, I then touch upon some of my personal experiences when it comes to meeting someone on tour and starting to date long-term, as well as dating someone who doesn’t tour while I’m on the road full-time. I also answer a question about what advice I’d give to someone who’s new to these situations.

The second ever episode of my new info-series all about the live music industry! In this episode, I talk about what I think merchandise managers on tour should value themselves at (in an ideal world). My goal is to get people thinking about how various artists and companies are able to pay their merchandise managers, tour managers, and tour photographers, and to gauge what kind of rate they should be pitching as they move up in the touring world. I also talk about tipping at merch and why anything less than 100% of tips going to merchandise managers is highly unacceptable. Hopefully we can all band together start getting compensated fairly!
