This week Shelby shares her experience on her gynecologic oncology rotation. We're talking about what gyn-oncs do, what kind of pathology they see, and some of the not-well-known facets of gyn-onc practice!

  • When discussing the role of traditional oncologists in gyn-onc: GYN oncologists will often refer their patients to a radiation oncologist if their treatment includes radiation in addition to chemotherapy and surgery.
