We all have unique lives, children, career paths and experiences that make us who we are. My life has been filled with adventures, from a humble beginning as a biracial kid in a small Midwestern town, to a C-Level leader despite being a college drop out. We all have our own story, but I believe a dream of a successful life is shared by all, and that is why I started this podcast. Intended for my children, grandchildren and anyone seeking wisdom and success while being entertained, I'm confidant you'll be better off for giving us a listen. Let me know if I'm wrong. ;)

What's the saying? "Happiness comes in many forms?"

For me, discovering joy has come from a tactic I talk about in this episode. Married couples, friends, co-workers and even family - discovering joy is possible, and I talk about one way I found it for myself.

Would it be a dream if every prayer you ever had was answered? Would you be happy, fulfilled, and have a perfect life?

Using a famous country song as a backdrop, I share my thoughts on how I view this fact of life and why I agree with Garth.

What stage is denial? The one we are going to stop doing today as I share a German phrase that names the part of our personality which is a roadblock to our future self. Let's talk about ways to be successful and listen to me speak my first and only German words... badly. Real badly.

6: Walking with the Wise

An oracle in Greece, a shaman in pre-colonial America, a monk in Ancient China, a tall bearded President leading a young generation, or even a grandfather on a porch in a small Missouri town, wisdom can come from so many sources throughout our lives if we'll listen, ours to take or leave and apply or not. A tragedy hits our family. The past few days have made me think about our legacies - what we wanted to leave behind versus what we actually do if we leave this world much sooner than planned.
