The Geoeconomics of Champion Organizations.

hello everyone, thanks for listening to my podcast. if you are here for the first time, my name is Maya Kannan. I'm a deep Tech geo-economic strategist, a historian, an entrepreneur, and a venture architect, who promotes institutions, organizations, and startup companies, and advises governments, institutions, Brands, economic regions Etc. I help them to win all the odds on their path to achieving their goals at a larger economic scale. In this topic, I'm going to discuss the champion organizations. The champion organizations are not new strategy adopted by countries has been thousands of years during the kingdoms every greater kingdoms especially those who started sailing who started building ships and sailing across the world to do trade they have adopted this strategy of creating Champion organizations some of them thrived some of them had a flaw and literally failed some of them become brutal you know organization right so it depends on a lot of factors including geopolitics and geostrategy but overall the champion building Champion organizations is not a new trend right so first let's see before seeing the greatness of some of the champion organization first let's see the problems associated with the current generation Champion organizations or the other words organizations used as a geo-political strategy by Nations where these organizations are created or founded to win the world through economic means right by the definition of that you will know it's basically the government gets involved in such an organization in fact even to fund these organizations to go around the world and you know do the trade so there are many successful even in the past few decades there are a lot of successful Champion organizations created initially they were not been created as a champion organization but eventually governments could be able to use them as a strategy to you know make them as a champion organization right all the some of the major bigger players in the market large institutions who control the internet organizations like Google Amazon pretty much organizations of that scale including Facebook when they founded they were not you know created at least obviously not created as a champion organization but eventually the government could able to directly or indirectly if it is democracy they have to take any direct means to take a control of this organization but the goal is the same to dominate the world through economy or economic means right for example China you know the Alibaba was a champion organization it was a successful organization and then many Chinese companies like ZTE the telecom companies you know who could able to expand globally and many of organization who never left China but still could able to create a great impact around the world or at least they you know China took a different strategy or they've been forced to take such a strategy by you know being a back office to order back manufacturing hub for many organizations inherently they are into the game of economics and geopolitics right but everybody knows now that what went wrong with Alibaba is Alibaba wanted to have a sovereignty on its own which under the Chinese structure that's not allowed and obviously you know the government started taking more and more influence and other institutions you know around it correct if you take India recent Times India created Adani Group which was supposed to be a champion organization almost everybody knows it's too obvious it was funded by the or it was not funded initially by the government it's in there for a few decades but after 2014 definitely the multi-fold growth exponential growth normally for exponential growth from you know the idea of the institution you know Crossing you know amassing a wealth of 200 billion that kind of a champion organization is also now in deep trouble as we speak in this podcast Adani group lost more than 100 billion in asset valuation righ

GeoEconomics of the Indian Ocean, Tamil Region!

In this Video Podcast, maya Kannan talks about the significant development in the Geopolitics of Southern India, the Tamil Region, and Parts of Sri Lanka.

I'm using this video podcast as a very crucial time in the history of the Tamil region and the southern Indian region overall, including Sri Lanka. with the global geopolitical changes at rapid speed that happening right now, the world is divided into many corridors of economies right as you know, not just only for economic reasons but also for all geopolitical and geostrategy reasons. the world is deeply divided with the U.S. and the West on one side and Russia, China Iran, and some other Middle East Nations on the other side. and Europeans somewhere in the middle part of them on this side and some of them on the other side right, especially after the Ukraine war.

Coming to Africa, more and more African nations started loving the Chinese Belt and Road initiatives and they started supporting that China is there to help them out and their support is growing more. so they are taking the Chinese side. surprisingly you know Brazil and other South American countries also ditching the west and aligning more towards China and also to Russia. oil drives most of these things but then international trade and building the country's infrastructure all these things are the Trump cards put by the Chinese; which is highly you know and desirable by those countries right that is the situation around the world.

But, there is one country in the world that is in a very delicate spot. Guess what? Guess which country?

yes, of course , it is India. It has taken a very unique position now and it has been forced to be in a situation where India is positioned as a darling for the West on the, you know, on the one side its relationship with Russia for many decades on the other side puts it into a very, you know the very unique position. where in fact India's recent decisions after the Ukraine war made most of the countries around the world surprised you know to see India taking a multi-power positioning with uh taking puts putting its own interest in the front and being um you know um unaligned with any specific Corridor or supporting not supporting the sanctions against Russia doing trade with Russia especially the mostly the oil trade right uh India has its own reasons to do that and it has you know because the world is changed changing and it has been transformed a lot and uh with this current geopolitical and geostrategic and most importantly the geoeconomic poisoning of the world.

Just in Transition, The missing Pieces of the Puzzle to cross the Last Mile to Success.

hello folks .. good to see you all once again in another important video and a Podcast. If you're here for the first time I'm Maya Kannan and I'm a deep Tech geo economic strategist, a Venture promoter and a serial entrepreneur. I work with institutions, brands private organizations, non-profits and governments both local Global, and also International institutions in terms of achieving their goals in projects and programs of larger economic scale. In this video I'm going to be talking about an important topic called, "Just In transition". Although this just-in transition will be specific to coal mining just in transition but this is kind of a common for most of the you know transitional projects and programs which play you know greater economic impact both locally and internationally right.  a few days back I um attended a conference in here in Warsaw, Poland, the World Bank conference in which they've been presenting the two years of their working on the just in coal transition they were presenting the findings and the results and all. I found a lot of interesting facts in that but one thing I wanted to I really wanted to repeat things they have presented but would like to bring my perspective out of not only this conference but also from talking to the locals and doing my own and my team's research. I'm going to be talking about the missing piece right in just in transition any initiative in Just In transition this is you know there's some missing piece some consistent seeing over and over again and a lot of experts agree with me. That is what I'm going to be talking here right. so the I'm going to be talking about these missing pieces. By the way, for those who are not familiar with "Just In transition",  the just in translation is all about post mining era, to do something about the land claiming the land and recreating the economy and transforming the region into a newer economic zone and create opportunities for the locals, the local people and the businesses who are heavily dependent on the mining industry, not specifically gold mining but mostly it is directed to coal mining but it is applicable to every mining out there, right. so post-mining I'm not talking about the current mining but post mining it is done right for some reasons for a lot of reasons why the mine is closed are forced to close by the government forward these reasons right. this is all about the transition post-mining correct. I do qualify for this topic for a few reasons beyond my expertise, it's close to my heart.  The transition. Two things. I in my childhood I grew up with my father running as a president of a local mine right. he was you know responsible for all in all operations and so I I used to go there right with the mines and you know how much of the workers problems and the the people the economic over there the environmental issues the regulatory issues etc. you know there this is you know back in India . So, I pretty much you know have the Baseline understanding deeper understanding of these things you know of the of the miners and the mining ratio mining problems right. Then, Secondly, when I moved to the US, most of my time I'll lived in West Virginia when I regularly traveled to coal mining zones and areas and happened to learn the people, their problems are always very close to my heart right. those who are following me for the last 10 to 15 years in the linkedIn or Facebook  should know that how much I support and  how much voice I raised in support for the people suffering due to abrupt transitioning of the mining, right. I am a Libertarian.
