#7 Composing for Natural History programmes with Bradley Ayres

By chance, Aoife meets Bradley Ayres and discovers he’s the composer behind the soundtracks of her favourite ocean documentaries.
Bradley welcomes us into his studio to explore the craft of composing for natural history films. He breaks down the layers of his tracks for Ken O’Sullivan’s North Atlantic: The Dark Ocean, and even creates some music just for us.

#5 Rabies in Cape Fur Seals & the Spectacle of the Sardine Run

It's the first time in history that there has been a rabies outbreak in marine mammals. Mike Nortje, the owner of Pisces Divers in Cape Town, talks about what we know so far about rabies in Cape fur seals and its effect on the tourism industry in South Africa.

Mike also tells us about what it's like to witness one of the world's most spectacular marine events—the Sardine Run—which sees the migration of billions of sardines, attracting a frenzy of whales, dolphins, and birds.
