In this episode we loosely discuss some of the impacts of gamer gate but more directly just the implications and ability for the right, to organize young children (mainly young white boys) online. We have our first guest star Declan, who actively engaged with the communities that sparked the fruition of the online bigotry and hate campaigns. This episode could simply be summed up by the title of the episode. These people exist online but profit off of the real life bigotry that their content facilities and produces. With children consuming the most amount of online media at rapid paces, it’s evident who becomes the target of misinformation. While women as a whole are a large group for these online bigots to attack, white women often share the same sentiments to their counterparts thus making those who aren’t white more likely to face the damage of these harmful ideas.
