I need to be very clear, we are speaking of voting in Montague County, Texas and how easy and safe it is here. What you experience in your county could be something completely different and we understand that. We hope you did get a glimpse into our situation and above all, we encourage you to go vote!
In my Winedown Wednesday group last night, the question was asked by one of my gal pals..."Do you think this Coronavirus is a bunch of Hooey"? For those not from Texas, Hooey is defined as nonsense — often used in phrases like a bunch of hooey and a load of hooey. She was serious in her questioning though because she had heard someone say, "This whole Pandemic was Hooey"! She was polling us as to our thoughts and that got me to thinking about masks and how "Mask Wearing" is quite a point of contention around these parts and maybe other places in the U.S. as well. I have my reasons for wearing masks and when I forget to wear a mask into a public venue these days it is because I have weighed the chances of coming into close proximity to people and/or I just forgot to put one on...which does not happen very often but makes me feel horrible when it does! Thanks to CNN for doing some of the research in my podcast so I did not have to. Also, thanks to the Ad Council for the great Public Service Announcement on the 2020 Census. Remember, Make your family count, fill out the census.
I told my friend Sharon who is a great Friend of the Pod (FOP) that I originally had a title for this podcast "Our Relationship with Technology..and how it is only making our lives better" but at some point along the way when all the tech failed my friends and I this week and we spiraled out of control a bit, I changed the name to "Our Relationship with Technology...and why it sometimes makes us want to drink more!" Even though I have a real love affair with technology of all kinds, even I have my limits and I think I bumped the ceiling this week.
Please enjoy this latest podcast about the ups and downs, ins and outs of technology during the time of Covid-19 and how we react to those times.
Thank you to www.betteraging.com and John Manuel Andriot with www.Psychologytoday.com for doing some of the research so I did not have to.

What are some of the good things that have come from this pandemic or more likely you can better express the things that make you have very strong feelings? I try to best explain my views on the subject by analyzing the good, the bad and the ugly of our "New Normal".
Please take a few minutes and rate and review me on Apple Podcasts...its how I can be found and listened to easier! Better yet, Share this podcast with all your friends and maybe they will get a chuckle out of it. Thanks for being a loyal listener!
Please check on your friends because we are not well...but Zoom cocktail hour definitely helps with this!
Today's episode talks about dating and the use of dating apps during COVID-19 and also about how wedding plans are being quite altered in the near future. Thnaks for listening to our podcast today!
I want to thank K. Thor Jenson for the ultimate research on Dating apps and TheKnot.com for some great information on weddings and wedding postponement ideas.
(NOTE: Today's episode was recorded with the brand new BETA version of Anchor with Friends and there are some audio issues. The content is very relevant and I think you will enjoy is regardless of the sound issues.)
Today's episode is an interview with Lora Hawthorne. She has been homeschooling for a while now and is quite the "No Drama Mama"!
A side note to today's episode, the podcast I was trying to think of is called Criminal by Phoebe Judge and the episode is #136. It is called La Brea Dave. Don't miss it, it's a good one!
Welcome to my very first podcast...about my thoughts that are rolling thru my brain during this sometimes scary time in our lives!
