Today we get to hear from our good buddy, Kevin Cheff, The Retriever Coach with his advice for building memory with younger dogs. Kevin works through the fine details of how you can get younger dogs (puppies too) to look out and develop memory on multiple marks.
Here's a few highlights from the show:
Holding younger dogs during marks and facing them in the correct direction
Each mark should be 5-6 yards at most
Get the dog to think there's always another mark out there and to be excited about it
Don't forget to use short grass, white bumpers with the sun behind you and use a long lead.
Be sure to check out Kevin's Fetch Program, which is open right now. You can find the details for this here. The enrollment closes March 12, 2025
