Where have we been? Wouldn't you like to know, ya pervert. Yes we're back, and kicking off the new year with chaos, per usual. This week's episode gives insight to each of the Flaherty sisters' lives since we last recorded back in October. We also hash into our time together at home for the holidays, as it was obviously full of chaos and commotion. We end this week's episode with a special exclusive clip from the Flaherty family Christmas dinner. Trust me when I say you'll want to listen to the very end (maybe not you Tom).
On this week's episode, the girls dive into their Pre-K through 8th grade years all at catholic schools. From wearing unflattering uniforms, getting yelled at for wearing any makeup, dinners at our house with nuns/priests, the competition to be Mary in the nativity scene, catholic schools week, alter serving, and so many other factors, we can really dissect the experiences we had growing up in a catholic school setting. Listen in as we set the scene for next week, where we will get into the infamous high school years at a catholic school as well.
Although the Flaherty sisters run the show, we do hold special places in our hearts for our 3 brothers. Listen in this week as we have our brothers, Dillon (26), Tosh (17), and CJ (14) on the podcast, to introduce them to our listeners and get an even better feel for our family dynamic. We discuss how Dillon is the perfect child but has a psychotic way to let his anger out. We highlight how Tosh is the king of chaos who will always march to the beat of his own drum. We expose CJ for the inappropriate human he truly is and how spoiled he is as well. We also dive into our family vacations and how they played a big role in our dynamic growing up. Tune in this week to get to know the brothers, and truly see that the girls run the house!
THE NINA, THE PINTA, THE SANTA MARIA! This week it's more like... THE LIBRA, THE PISCES, THE SCORPIO! On this week's episode, the sisters dive into their zodiac signs to see if our personalities really align with each of our signs. We come to terms with the fact that our signs show a lot of truth to our personalities. Maggie is our compassionate Pisces, who shows grace and sympathy in everything she does. Erin is our fiercely loyal Scorpio, who shows passion and power in everything she does. Shaughnessy and Brigid are our charming Libras, who strive for peace, fairness, and justice in everything they do. Listen in as we dive into each of our strengths, and more interestingly, our weaknesses. Also, the Queen is dead. We need to discuss.
This may be shocking to hear, but there are more than just 4 Flaherty sisters. This week, we have on the beloved Hannah Dixon, our older brother's long-term girlfriend. She is adored by the entire family because of her amazing personality, rockstar work-ethic, fellow Target enthusiast, and go-with-the-flow attitude. We honestly don't know how she puts up with our brother but we're so thankful she does. Listen in as we discuss how she gained the Flaherty family's approval (which is a hard thing to do considering the ladies run this family and we are very protective of our brothers)!! We promise you'll love her more and more by the minute.
Did you miss us? Just kidding we know you're probably angry at us for leaving you all high and dry for two weeks. BUT WE'RE BACK FINALLY!! After two weeks of chaos and crazy schedules, the sisters are here to give you an update on our lives. Listen in this week as Erin, Brigid, and Shaughnessy talk through the chaos of the last few weeks, while missing our Maggie as she's busy becoming a Doctor. This week is honest, real, raw, and heartfelt as we talk through a big life change in one of the sister's lives. But don't worry, as you know, we always find the positives and fuel our souls with laughter, Texas Road House, pull-out couches, J-Lo, and Canada.
It's roast time. This week's roast subject.... the youngest Flaherty sister, Shaughnessy. Shaughnessy is living her best life with very little regard for anyone but herself. We love to see it, but as her sisters, we need to humble her. Listen in as we talk about how the sisters used to not like Shaughny cause she smelled like cream cheese, was the biggest snake, and had by far the worst awkward phase out of all the sisters. Much love Shaughny!
"Pub 235 this is Nicole speaking, how may I help you?" On this week's episode, we are joined by Erin's hands-down best friend, our neighbor, co-worker, and now manager of the restaurant Pub 235, Nicole Nelson. We dive into the craziness of what it is like working in the restaurant industry, dealing with Karens, and babysitting drunkards at the bar. Shaughny gets food thrown at her face, Erin is eating off other people's plates, Brigid is getting a grown man fired, and Maggie is cleaning up human feces. We also learn that adult braces sometimes save lives. Just do yourselves a favor and listen.
This week on the podcast, the Flaherty sisters dive head first into the good old days... life in college. From freshman year, all the way through Erin's 5th year as a supersenior (yikes), the memories from our times in college will be held close to our hearts forever (mostly the memories we may not fully remember). Listen in as we discuss our individual college experiences, as well as the introduction of a new segment!
The Flaherty sisters would like to welcome the infamous 8th sibling... Luke Scorsone. As our older brother's life long best friend, and Erin's on-again, off-again middle school love, Luke has truly been initiated into the family in more ways than one. Listen in as we discuss the heartbreak and drama of middle school relationships, as well as the progression of Luke's acceptance into the Flaherty family over the years.
On this week's episode, the sisters dive into what they each are currently doing/where they are living/what their relationship status is. The second half of the episode focuses on each sister giving their answers to the following questions:
1. What is your ideal meal?
2. If your boyfriend cheated on you right now, how would you react?
3. If your bachelorette party was this upcoming weekend, where would it be and why?
Also, Shaughnessy is inebriated the ENTIRE episode, so you know it's an hour of complete and utter chaos!
On this week's episode, the 4 Flaherty sisters recap the infamous golf tournament before being joined by their oldest friends, Chrysa and Mary :) Listen to an hour of chaos that perfectly sums up who we are!
Get ready for the rollercoaster of a lifetime - join Erin, Maggie, Brigid, and Shaughnessy as we introduce our new podcast and each other. Take a look into the craziness of our family through the eyes of the 4 sisters (more specifically their unfiltered mouths).
