In this episode Camilo is with the band explaining what's happened with this powerful record mogul and the fact that none of the radio stations are willing to play their record because he has given the stop order. They decide that they just need to find a way of getting heard which ever way they can. After all if people hear it somehow and people start asking the radio stations to play it; then they will have to air it  by public demand. So they decide to consider even hairdresser's  radio stations.  Any thing will do;  and they will show those powerful people that they won't be silenced!

After going to many stations and taking gifts and trying unusccessfully  Camilo finds a radio station that will play his record - and without any dubious fees or charges.  Success seems close by: but another music expert gets to know by chance and for him this is not good news.  An independant record being played for free on radio? cutting out all the producers, marketeers and all that a record company would do? what ever next: what if all the artists were to do that? what would happen to record companies? where would they get their cut from?  No way!

Encounter the real nitty gritty of the music business. The radio station listne to the record and is very positive, but  insunuates that money should pass hands to get them to paly the record. What does Camilo do? He's fuming at the shady deals that radio stations seem to see as the norm. Exploiting the artists and deceiving the listeners.  Ay caramba!

Now that the band are all happy with the record Camilo excitedly begins to cold call radio stations to get them to play it and so generate sales.  

They're all in high spirits about the new record which they have recorded completely independently.  Things are looking up. Or: are they not?

After much doubting and thinking that the record was going to be a failure because Camilo had spoilt it by adding extra sounds: The xpert says that the record is good and innovative and that this is good in this industry. The band is over the moon and their fears are dispelled. However, the expert - Cuellar - does warn them that simply because the record is good it doesn't mean that it will be a hit. There is a long road between making a good record and marketing in a way that makes it a hit. Watch this space!

Behind Camilo's back the band members decide to call in a music industry expert to listen to the record.

The band members are not sure about the record and call in the music events organiser (Cuellar) to get his opinion on wether the record can possibly be a hit even though it does seem quite an unusual one. 

They are very doubtful of its possible popularity given that they themselves had chosen the other simpler version which had none of the noises made by the singer Camilo during  the recordings.

Camilo decided to press the version with the animal sounds in the recording. TO the dissapointment of the band members.

Excitedly they receive the box of pressed vinyl and the whole band opens the box excitedly! However, not all seems to be as they had agreed. Camilo has once more followed his instinct and not the band's wishes...

Camilo and the band are very excited because the copies of the single are ready to pick up..  None of them have listened to the final version... adn they have no idea how they will well it or promote it. But the entrepreneurial spirit is keeping them in good spirits. Camilo assures them that they will find a way even without any record company back up.

In this scene they are practising for the local church event in the community, These are the types of events they first played at when they weren't famous. But as they have no tours or record contracts they've had to go back to square one to get some funds for their record. They're playing at the loc parushe's Chiristmas event.

In this scene the band are finaly at the recording studio for their first new single. Paying for it in instalments Camilo heads withthe band to the recording studio.

Camilo goes to the record producer to try and get an independant record but the cost is way too high. As the producer is keen and ready for a deal Camilo sugests doing a single instead. In his view it's cheaper and a step towards the LP. But the band hadn't expected or agreed to this short changed deal...

In this eposide Machorro-  the hippie member of the band gives his fellow band members a bit of advice following the love and peace mantra of his hippie ideology

I this scene they beand members get together without the leader to discuss whether they should split or support the band leader with going ahead with the independent record.

Here the band discuss the ways in which they could do their own record without a record company.

In this scene the group are gathered together. They have no record contract and no posibility of getting one because the record producer has already got another group to record the songs that were reserved for them. The full effect of this hasn't quite hit them yet and they have high hopes that  something good is just round the corner... if only they knew....

In this scene - Los Latinos have lost the record deal and so Camilo tries to convince the producer to change his mind about sacking the two drummers in order to do the new record.

In this episode a love traingle between Rosario and two drummers in the band emerges. The inevitable fight ensues with drastic consequenes for the band.
