For his film, Munashe chose the 1986 classic, "Soul Man"
"Soul Man" follows Mark Watson, a white man who after accepting a place at Harvard Law, finds himself unable to pay tuition. To fund his education, he "tints his skin" (goes full blackface) and recieves a scholarship. He then finds that beig black does lead to people treating him differently.

Isabella is an internationally touring comedian who has performed in London, New York, LA, Hong Kong, and more! Her solo shows have sold out at the Edinburgh and Melbourne Fringe. She is also an accomplished writer and actress, and for her film she chose the 1968 classic, "Rosemary's Baby".
Rosemary's Baby, follows a young couple who are trying for a baby, as they move into an ornate building in New York. The couple find themselves surrounded peculiar, elderly, and occult neighbours. A real doozy of a film!
In the first episode of Kino with Khan, Asif is joined by longtime friend and collaborator, Arthur Studholme. Arthur is a director, filmmaker, comedian, and writer, having directed and written a slew of comedy sketches, and adverts, he's also at the forefront of absurdist comedy. In that tradition, the film Arthur chose to discuss was the 1974, sci-fi, cult-classic, "Zardoz", written and directed by John Boorman.
"Zardoz" takes place in th late 23rd century. A savage (Sean Connery) trained only to kill, finds his way into the community of bored immortals that alone preserve humanity's achievements.
A super weird film, fitting of a conversation with Arthur, and leads to an incredibly fun and bizarre chat. A pefect first episode.
