Understanding the code fully gives you a headstart once you start to make changes.
Working on a final assignment for a software construction course. Thinking about inheritance. And wondering if I should have spent more time understanding the code.
Today my coding was working on the final project for my Software Construction course. I also talk about fearing failure when coding.
I did some bug fixes and freeCodeCamp challenges today. The challenges are nice to keep me learning new tricks, and to help me confirm that I can do coding.
Did FreeCodeCamp challenges and some other challenges this evening. Some success, and some of the more difficult challenges will require some work yet.
Starting a simple workflow engine with html redirects. Using jQuery and Javascript.
Finished my work with KendoUI for jQuery. Thinking about how I could do the work better if I were to refactor it.
Working with KendoUI to find a work-around for something that the vendor won't be able to deliver in time for the migration.
It's nice to be able to sit down to code peacefully for an hour and just let the day end quietly.
Working on a Blade this evening and enjoying how well-formed functions allow for easy reuse.
I had a function that I thought should return a view. But it wasn't returning anything. What is going on?
