I wanted to do my first PodCast with my Dad and my oldest son Nate who just turned 29, and review the past year of chaos, mis-information, over information, and not knowing which way is up some days.

3 different generations. 3 different viewpoints and perspective but what I believe is a ton of similarities in the overall summary of 2020.

But my son has a new girlfriend and it's New Years Eve :-)  I loved the conversation with my Father, and we discussed some of the Big C's in 2020

A little reflection and gratitude

Alan has much experience dealing with medical kits, simple IFAK's and  bigger medical packs and I wanted to share some of his knowledge and  experience as we reviewed a new IFAK for me, and one Alan carries, and  swears by.  I was surprised by a few different items in this IFAK from Active Carry  Technologies, and Alan explained the importance of these, and my heart  warmed when I glimpsed the little roll of duct tape.  This confirmed my feelings of this IFAK'sperfection :-) jk, it's great  but nothing is perfect :-)  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Adam with @the_guncast on IG & his website www.theguncast.com loves firearms, served as a SeaBee in the Navy, 240 bravo gunner, then training the different SeaBee teams on small arms, carbines, and shotgun instruction. I had some more struggles with a scheduled podcast that no one showed up but me twice in the same day :-)

but shit happens to everyone everyday and U can choose to overcome, find a way to turn this negative into a positive or dwell on something you have no control over, and play victim for attention

I have don this before, many times, but wanted to share a day that I didn't or haven't yet :-)  The 7am failed podcast was a time I was able to help get the kids ready and in mommies car so they can make it to Nanna's for school for 1 and play time for the other.  And this podcast is the failed 9am podcast result.

Heather is working to help increase the knowledge and understanding about firearms and the importance of both the 1st and the 2nd Amendment as well as starting her personal firearms instruction for new gun owners, those new to CCW carry, or those who haven't gone to the range in a bit and need some reminders, as we all do when it comes to firearms safety The OC in the www.HighCaliberOC.com and the IG account @HighCaliber_OC stands for Orange County California, where there is currently a healthy and growing firearms community, thanks to many other individuals starting their own biz to help and educate more US citizens on their rights to the most effective self defense tools in our times. Heather has been around firearms all of her life, but never an active shooter until she met her husband, a military man, and her love for the recreation use, and self defense aspects of firearms grew from there. Tough week for a few different challenges, failed podcasts, mistakes, self doubt and insecurity, lack of motivation and not being able to just let shit go :-)

I've let that go now, and I'm moving forward.  We will be moving soon, so the 'studio' must be taken down unfortunately, but videos and podcasts will still be uploaded at least once a week
