There's always a risk with a sequel that it won't live up to the original, well we're putting that to test today with a follow-up episode on music videos of the 90s! Naturally we need to bring back our resident pop expert Joe Barter to lend us his expert eye for this one.
We urge you to watch the videos along with us as we discuss our thoughts on each one. The links to each one can be found below.

We're continuing our series of episodes on the computer games of the 90s, year-by-year, and we've landed on 1993 this time. Stu and Alex each choose the three games of 1993 that meant the most to them, and why.
Tune in to find out what game was adored by Alex but challenged by the tabloids, which game has left Stu with only one memory - reading the instructions in the back of a mk2 Cavalier, and whether Alex or Stu ever actually completed any of these games.

We disappointed our listeners last time by not releasing an episode (due to perfectly valid extenuating circumstances involving Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson), so our friends Kathryn and Dan from the Now That's What I Call Bullshit podcast took pity on us and have generously offered us the opportunity to premier the episode of NTWICB we recorded with them recently. We discussed the 1999 edition NOW 43, and boy are there some good tracks on here.
Tune in to find out which song impacted a young Stu Joslin more than almost any other, which of the presenters has somehow got through their whole life without having a favourite boy-band song, which Spice Girl Kathryn rates the lowest for singing, and just how few songs Dan actually recognises, let alone likes.
Thank you so much to Kathryn and Dan for letting us release this episode and thanks to Kathryn for editing the whole thing!

As per the terms of his contract, Stu drops in to apologise for another enforced pod lay-off. But please don't worry, because we will return in August with an episode on school summer holidays! Please get your correspondence and memories in - it doesn't have to be about actually going on holiday; we're interested in the things you did to keep yourself occupied during those long free weeks across the 90s.
Thanks for bearing with us and we'll be back soon!
This time on IBAITN we're discussing the UK sitcoms which never quite lodged themselves in the public consciousness, the League 1 sitcoms if you will. Stu and Alex each pick three to talk about and decide whether or not they stand up today. Tune in to find out which programme ended on a dark note, and then ended again on a cop-out, which sitcoms Stu inexplicably bought on DVD during his Great Physical Media Grab of the 2010s and what's Stu excuse for busting out his Paul Shane impression again?

This time on IBAITN, we take a look back at one of our favourite TV series of the 90s, the Danny Baker hosted 'The Game' from 1991. In a wide-ranging chat, we discuss the formation of Livingstone, the making of the series, joy and heartbreak on the pitch, and how a strong team bond continues to this day, almost 35 years after the series was made.

It's a new frontier for the pod as we introduce a brand new episode strand we're calling the 90s Time Capsule! For these special episodes we invite a guest on to choose a few things they'd like to bring back from the 90s, plus one thing they're happy to leave firmly back in 90s past. Who better to be our first guest to try out this new format than returning guest and creator of the brilliant My Teenage Diaries; Teresa Stenson?
Tune in to find what important archival objects are still stored in Teresa's Rover biscuit tin, which art form was sadly valued more back then than now, and just why is Stu wheeling out his Dirty Den impression?
Also this time: Old ale! Alex's late birthday present for Stu! Can Stu redeem himself on the mini-quiz? And much, much more!
My Teenage Diaries can be found at this link, and Teresa's beautiful handmade zines can be found here - we strongly recommend you check these out for more excellent 90s content!

This time on IBAITN, we come close to actually doing a bit of serious journalism as we review the recent BBC documentary 'Loaded: Lads, Mags and Mayhem'. Join us as we reflect on the documentary before discussing our own thoughts on lad culture, how we experienced it at the time, and what we believe are the component parts of the archetypal 'lad'.
'Loaded: Lads, Mags and Mayhem' is a fascinating documentary that we highly recommend all 90s enthusiasts watch, although Stu did need to be talked into watching it after being told it contained 'upsetting scenes'.
