9. it girl q+a: feeling behind, facing toxic parents & reevaluating friendships

In todays first Q+A episode, we will be exploring the following questions:

Q1: Feeling Behind

Hi, I've been feeling a little hopeful lately. I'm 23, never had a boyfriend, had a first kiss nor slept with a guy. Matter of fact, I've actually never done anything even basic such as holding hands with a guy I like. I'm starting to feel as if I'm behind in life since I do not have these experiences.

Q2: Facing Toxic Parents

I know you mentioned that we need to be aware of our circle, and therefore should cut out friends and partners that are toxic. What if the person that is toxic for me, is my parent?

Q3: Reevaluating Friendships

My best friend is friends with my bullies. It's not like I'm trying to tell her who she can or cannot be friends with, but I've told her how those girls made me feel- how they roll their eyes at me, and make comments about me, but my best friend just brushes it off. She doesn't participates with them making me feel a certain way, but I still feel kinda betrayed. She is my only friend, what do I do?
