Imagine a fairy tale, a world into which children will escape. But instead of rainbows and sparkly magic, there's a crazy Doctor, a Vampire Lord anImagined murder.
The plot in short is really just this: our FMC, wannabe bad b*tch, overpowered demon who's way too cool for school meets an ancient, all mighty, yet crazy depressed God and together they travel the world. By car.
Today's episode has our heart. Telling stories about the complexity of life, this book really doesn't need a lot of plot to draw you in, the very much John Green writing style paired with real, raw emotions will do the trick just fine. And stay to the end to hear why Tabbi still had to CRAWL through the last pages!
New audio AND Youtube Channel? Who's the powerhouse of the cell? It's us. Today, we are discussing children who have discovered worlds beyond imagination, only to return to reality distraught, lost, and with a murderer in their midst.
Here we've got the typical "regular girl with regular life is suddenly not so regular and in fact an overpowered long lost heir to the throne"-trope! Usually a trope that slays but why did the FMC only have 3 braincells??????
A fae warrior with alcohol problems, 'nuff said. No honestly though, this book had so much more potential which we will discuss in length - obviously not without forgetting all major plot twists and character names!
Give me Cinderella retold, but not one of those boring same-old-same-old versions! Make it fae, give it smart main characters and add sweet banter to it. This easy and quick to read, no-spice book received a solid 4 stars!
Zombies in Space? Sounds weird but results in the easiest 6 star rating we've ever awarded. This Horror-SciFi piece will blindside you with plot twists left, right and center and explain why you better be nice to ChatGPT. Buy it. BUYYY IT we said!!!!!
This slow-burn romance is giving Bridgerton and we are so here for it. Tabbi's self announced best friend (who by the way has no idea Tabbi even exists) wrote a real delight. Witty, bubbly Rebecca meets cold, detached Elijah and a TRUE enemies-to-lovers unfolds (eeeeek!).
I got this book from Tabbi right after a podcast episode. 10 min later, on my way home, I was already crying on the subway. So yeah, if you're looking for something to bring you down and make you furious about society, check this out!
This NYT bestseller is definetely much more than just a "romcom" - no wonder this episode ran long! In this mix of book review and therapy session you'll get the full range from hystercial laughter to floods of tears and we are excited to have you join!
Hi there, here's a little introduction to your new book besties, we are so excited to have you listening in!
Was this book worth the TikTok hype? Well, if you've always craved a mix of Harry Potter's triwizard tournament and the Hunger Games, then this might just be your thing. Except it comes with a slight downside... our MMC: Kai.
The villains, so evil, so unpredictable. The world building, so detailed, so believable." Und wo sie Recht hat, hat sie Recht.
Not only were local women missing but also a good writing style and serious plot. Da liest man einmal einen Krimi und wird direkt dafür bestraft!
DO NOT DARE TO HATE ON THIS BOOK oder es wird das Letzte sein, was du tust!!! Also wenn es nach Sarah geht jedenfalls. Hier ist ihr 5 Sterne non-plus-ultra-oh-mein-gott-bestes-Buch-2024.
