Lizzie Jack and Jayke Beckett

Lizzie Jack is a singer-songwriter based in Wollongong. Her regional upbringing in the small town of Batemans Bay inspires much of her songwriting, and in 2019 she formed the indie rock four-piece Lizzie Jack and the Beanstalks.


Jayke Beckett is the bassist and backing vocalist in Lizzie Jack and the Beanstalks. He started playing music as a young boy, getting piano lessons at age 4. He got his first guitar at 7 years old, then picked up a bass at 15. 


Jayke is a lover of progressive music, using sound to tell stories and paint rich tapestries. He is passionate to see new musicians grow and does this by teaching students.


In this episode we talk about disability access within the music venues, jobs Lizzie and Jayke would do if they were not musicians, Lizzie’s love of Taylor Swift and so much more!
