Episode 4 (Part 3) - Discipline Cont'd & Shenanigans

In this multi-part episode, I am joined by 4 friends as we discuss our memories of high school.

In the part 3 finale, we wrap up our conversation about discipline and talk about some of the shenanigans that we remember from our time in school.

A little bit about our guests:

Nova is a recent high school graduate, coming from a school in California with approximately 2000 students. Her main focus during school was the art program and she had first-hand experience as a freshman going through high school during COVID.

Cheek graduated a couple years ago from a school of about 2500 in South-East Pennsylvania. He played varsity lacrosse as well as piano in the school string ensemble. He also experienced COVID as a sophomore in high school and the negative impact that it had on his high school friendships.

Velvet graduated with about 200 kids in his class from a school in NE pennsylvania in the late 90's. Although encouraged by his parents to play football, he focused heavily on music and played drums in the band.

Emerald graduated with also about 200 kids in his class from a school in Southern colorado in the early 90's. He participated in cross-country, basketball and track as well as played baritone in band.

I graduated with about 65 people from a small school in Northwest Ohio in the late 90's. I mainly played soccer and bowled in club organizations outside of the school. I also participated (thanks to that requirement by my mom - a music teacher from a neighboring school) in band, choir, and show choir.

In part 2, we will talk a bit about how COVID impacted school, as well as how it affected the behavior and discipline of kids.

Episode 3 - Time & Laziness

Been spending a lot of time thinking about just that..."time" as well as laziness and how easy it is to lose time being lazy.

As mentioned in the episode - my username is "njaski" on discord - so feel free to reach out and chat as well as share ideas and feedback with me there, or leave comments here for everyone else.

Anger

Initially, this podcast took off as a place to talk about and maybe vent about things that annoyed me. As I thought about my next topic - my short fuse (anger) came to mind and so I thought I'd take some time and reflect on things that upset me and why they do.

As stated in the podcast, I am not a Dr and have no medical expertise whatsoever (physical or psychological), so everything I talk about are just my personal experience and thoughts.

I marked it as explicit, but I only said b**** once FYI.

Thanks for listening!

I Quit Destiny...again (How it all started and ended)

I've been talking about starting a podcast for like 3 years. As with most of my "goals", I talk a lot and don't act enough. One of the main reasons why it never got off the ground was due to an addiction to the game Destiny. This first episode is about how I got started, quit (multiple times), then finally quit for real.
