I Don't Do Word Games-Christian Counseling 101

There comes a time when games should be placed aside. They may be fun to watch, but they are not fun when they can affect our mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. Too often we may find ourselves in situations that may cause us issues of the heart or confusion of the mind, simply because we are being affected by a game that we never asked to participate in. One of the worst examples of this is with the mere use of words. Words can be used in ways that help us, inspire us, teach us, and even bless us. It's unfortunate however, when words are used to abuse us, manipulate us, confuse us, and even tempt us. These unfortunate uses of words can show up in the workplace, friendships, relationships, homes, and even in our spiritual walks and journeys. So, how do we counteract this game of words? By not engaging in the game-that's how. And how do we accomplish this? Through knowledge, understanding, and discernment.

The desire of this podcast is to provide insight and wisdom into some of our everyday situations and circumstances by offering reasonable tactics and solutions for real life situations. How many want to handle the "games," in a way that doesn't compromise your integrity? Or handle the manipulation, confusion, and temptation in a way that doesn't disrupt your spiritual walk? How many want to just get a better understanding to help someone else? If so "I Don't Do Word Games" is that platform.

Host, Chelle L holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Christian Counseling and a Master of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in marriage, family, and children. She is also an ordained pastor that believes that for every situation God has a viable solution. In this podcast she will provide a level of understanding that is reachable and obtainable for all. Chelle L believes: knowing the WORD helps to discern the "words."
