We're back ahead of the first international break of the season, and it’s time to draw breath...
This week, one of us forgot the 11.30am transfer deadline while the other wildcarded- who came out the happiest? Things get a little feisty around our Liverpool talk, and ends up with a heated contest of who's more dislikable, Bruno or Suarez? The celebration police are out in force again, we discuss the hypocrisy of football fans in the transfer window, go in two footed on the Arsenal (surprise, surprise) , and wonder if cheap defcon defenders are this year's secret to success.

GW 1 is done, and there's joy and despair in the pod studio as we look at two wildly different scores.
We have our first Arsenal rant of the year (that didn't take long), discuss the first perfect FPL game of the season, give a couple of hot takes for you to vote on, extol the virtue of patience, and ask, with over 300k transfers out for Isak, why the hell did 300k people have him in their team in the first place?
We look at the early frontrunners in all our major leagues, go through all the GW2 fixtures, and look forward to a particularly spicy St James Park on Monday.

We're back from our summer sabbatical and we are raring to go...
On this week's episode, we cast our eyes over, and give a qualified approval to, the surprisingly well thought out and impressive FPL game changes (well, apart from one). We look forward to the year ahead, talk about our own FPL history, wave a joyous goodbye to the AM chip, and make some first impression predictions for how the year might go.
We ask the big questions, like: is Madueke the new Maddison? Can Man United and Spurs possibly be as bad again? Why are Villa's defenders so underpriced? And of course, who will be joining us at Fantasy Football Fest in a couple of weeks?
We also start this week on a somber note as we somehow turn to asking the big philosophical questions of how death affects us all in different ways, and why FPL almost unknowingly filters into some off our deepest thoughts about the meaning of it all. Seriously, if you're here more for the fun stuff- skip minute 1 to 4.

It's our last episode of the season, and we're in reflective mood- full of regrets, disappointments, frustrations- and love for FPL.
We look back over our highs and lows of the season and have one last dig at th AM chip, and of course Arsenal.

It's a half sombre mood on this week's pod as cruel cruel football kicks one of the team hard.
So instead of wallowing, we salute Ange's big balls, celebrate the possible end of Pep ball, discuss the season so far, and of course, lob bombs in the direction of full kit James Maddison.
We predict lots of goals this weekend, decry the lack of an an obvious triple captain, wonder if Liverpool or Crystal Palace will be the drunker, and finally try to decide between the club world cup or Jurassic Park.
