This week we took a look at some breaking news from National Art School, Sydney's premier private art school.
After interfering with a small student bake sale for Palestine, the management of the school held a meeting with dozens of students who wanted to know why the bake sale was shut down; whether future student activism would be dealt with in the same way; and would NAS leadership commit to stand one side of the Israel-Palestine issue?

Hung Up is now taking art school and art scene tips/gossip/whistleblower submissions. DM us at @hungup.au
For our final episode of the year, we split up to investigate the SCA and NAS grad shows which opened on the very same night.
We cover the vibes of art, the artists (and their parents), the teachers and grounds of these two Sydney institutions. Sorry, COFA.
Matt launches into a rant about the inner west social vibe (with examples) and then goes on to tell an unrelated disaster story.
We then discuss photography again, including some insight into how fashion photography sets work.
Finally, Hung up issue formal apologies for the year we've had with you.
Thanks for listening this year. See you in 2024.
Hey, welcome back to Hung Up. This week we’re talking to Lottie World about Paintings shifting between objects and ideas, going to the sauna, William Kentridge, ornamentation culture in PNG, cyclical time, friends with a sense of humour, the music industry and heaps more.

Last time we saw Tun, he and Mika (shoutout @uumebayashi) were running an art show from a tiny flat above king street. Shortly after that, Tun moved south to study at VCA. This catch-up call covers art photography, fashion photography, modelling, league of legends, the story behind Tun’s username @childsoldierr,
