There's a subject that used to be in horror movies, shows and thrillers a lot that you don't see much anymore. But strangely, when you do, it's usually in one of the best movies of the year. Let's talk about it!

Not all horror movies are strange. Some (a lot) of them are very straightforward. Friday The 13th is a revenge slasher in a camp. Cujo is a rabid dog vs people story. Night Of The Living Dead is mostly a zombie home invasion mvoie. 'Strange' horror comes from A24 (Hereditary, Lamb) and David Lynch and Coralie Fargeat etc., But sometimes, a 'normal' horror movie has something really strange hidden inside of it. Let's talk about it.
Some of our favorite spooky season watches come from a media format that has never been the subject of a horror podcast episode. Not once. Which is odd, since there are a million horror podcasts lol. Let's talk about it.

We are going talk about TWO great villains, a horror masterpiece you've probably seen but not seen all of, a cult horror classic that flopped on its release, and why you should never call people not named Buster 'Buster'.

The Hollywood Reporter recently released a list of their choices for the 25 best horror movies of the 21st century so far and it caused quite a stir. We disagreed with their choice for the number one spot and decided to create an episode making the case for a different, not that well known, but extraordinarily cutting edge horror film. We also asked for your input on the movie as well. Give it a listen and see if you agree with the case we made or not.
