Episode 147, I talk with Veteran, PTSD Survivor, Drummer, and Metal Fabricating Artist, Steve Kost! We start with an intro into Steve's life and then hop into his time in the military that he served. We then go from that into how Steve came home and hoe he faced and started dealing with is PTSD from being in the military and seeing what he seen where he was stationed. We then go into music and how drums became a part of his therapy dealing with the PTSD. We then talk about the bane that was formed because of Steve learning to drum called The Seventh Sons. Rick filled me in on how he opened up Soundlab Studios, why he did it, why he chose Mokena, when it opened up, how many people he had there working for him, when did bands start doing shows there, he told me about the many changes that Soundlab Studios took so that he could have shows there and more people could fit there, some of the bands that he remembers playing shows there, and when he finally left there to pursue other things!
