Despite the efforts of Booker T, Sid Vicious, and Jeff Jarrett doing their best to make the most of a bad situation this Pay Per View is the one that finally made WCW do a complete reboot afterwards - and famously had Hulk Hogan take on Ric Flair in a Yappapi Indian Strap Match... oh boy!

Pay Per Views for the WWF dipped in quality over 1999 and really were quite a mixed bag, however they kicked off the new millennium with a bang with the 'Royal Rumble' to start the year. We look back at a very memorable PPV as the World Wrestling Federation's popularity began to soar to even bigger heights - even without Stone Cold Steve Austin!

It's a new millenium in World Championship Wrestling and we're a bit in limbo as the ship doesn't seem to have a captain steering it.
