-First we discuss how meeting for coffee and how business events feel like a new thing after Covid. For example, do we use digital cards to be eco-friendly, less costly and also to feel safe?
-Then we discuss Quiet Hiring; How moving someone in slowly and kicking someone out quickly can destroy the culture of an organization without proper communication.
-Finally, Quiet income. A female police officer was fired after it was discovered she had an OnlyFans page-but there’s a catch. Also, a Mother was banned from attending events at her child’s school because they discovered she had an OnlyFans account. Is it judgement? How did they know? Why can those in charge view it but try to hold others accountable for creating another stream of income? A lot to discuss…

Cancel culture is turning on celebrities whose children followed their footsteps- through the door.
How is that different in everyday business?
Would you hook a friend up with a job?
Would you take over the family business?
Does skill play a part anymore or is it all in who you know?
Or is this a case of: If you’re in someone else’s business, who is minding yours?
It happens often. We hear a friend speak negatively about themselves and we refuse to let them. Yet we speak to ourselves twice as rough, before noon!
Then at work, during performance reviews, we have to speak to our strengths-but not too much, because “There’s always room for improvement and you do not want to look like you know it all.”
How do you find the line with bragging and advocating for your success? If you don’t celebrate yourself, who will? Are self performance reviews intended to tell your leader all the things you’ve done because they aren’t aware? Why do them if you cannot be honest about your performance?
