Ep. 17 Your Body Is Your Temple
How have you been treating your body lately? Are you treating your body like it's your temple? Scriptures in this podcast: Corinthians 19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;  you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.  Genesis 1:29 "Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. Ep. 16 Love Me Like Jesus
In this episode I go over what God has shown me is the kind of love I deserve from a man. Come join me as we go over all the things that God is showing me  what true love really is. PLEASE HIT THAT FOLLOW BUTTON! Scriptures used in this episode:  1 Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight [https://johnbaptistchurch.org/biblical-meaning-names/delight] in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."  Ephesians 5:25 - "Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, illustrating sacrificial love in relationships" same scripture from the MSG Bible-Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ's love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They're really doing themselves a favor—since they're already "one" in marriage. Ephesians 4:2 "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." 1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Genesis 2:24- 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.' Malachi 2:14 Msg -"And here's a second offense: You fill the place of worship with your whining and sniveling because you don't get what you want from God. Do you know why? Simple. Because God was there as a witness when you spoke your marriage vows to your young bride, and now you've broken those vows, broken the faith-bond with your vowed companion, your covenant wife. God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want from marriage? Children of God, that's what. So guard the spirit of marriage within you. Don't cheat on your spouse." Ephesians 4:29 NIV "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Ep. 15 The Living Sacrifice, Transformation, & Renewal of the Mind
Connect with me on social media [https://www.linktr.eee/godinspiredher]: The New Year is here!  While we are making resolutions for 2025, I truly believe that we also need to make spiritual resolution. Spiritual changes to ensure that you are invested in your relationship with God. It all starts with renewing of the mind. Scriptures used in this episode:  Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Philippians 4:8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. Joshua 1:8-9 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Romans 8:6 -So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace   Janice

Ep.14 Raise The Roof Friends
These days it can be difficult to discern who is really wanting you to win in life. With superficial connections, fleeting relationships one season someone is there, and by the next season they are gone. This episode is diving into how to discern true friendship, drawing wisdom from the Scriptures, particularly from Luke 5:17-39. Luke 5:17-39 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. 20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven." 21 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" 22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23 Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'? 24 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins." So he said to the paralyzed man, "I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home." 25 Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. 26 Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, "We have seen remarkable things today." Email me at godinspiredher@gmail.com for speaking engagements!

Ep. 13 Praying For A Breakthrough
How many of you are praying to God for a breakthrough? My definition of a breakthrough is when God already has your problem solved and he shows it to you. It's all in the mental.  Scriptures used in this episode:  Mark 11:22-23 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."  Theossalions 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Luke 9:23 And he said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."   The word "Breakthrough" in Mark 11:22-23 can be further explored through the original Greek word "διακοπή" (diakopé), which can also be translated as "interruption" or "obstruction.   To connect with me on social media, God Inspired Her blog, and book for speaking engagments click her! Ep.11 What Does An Abundant Life Really Look Like?
We have set through many church services where the preacher is talking about an abundant life. But what does an abundant life really look like? Connect with me on social media and the blog at God Inspired Her [https://www.linktr.ee/godinspiredher] The word "abundance" in 1 Peter 1 is translated from the Greek word "pleonexia," which conveys a sense of excess or overflowing.  Scriptures in this episode: 1 Peter 1:3"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead 1 Peter 1:15-16But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 [https://www.christianity.com/bible/niv/1-peter/1-16] for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." 1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. Corinthians 9:8 - "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." James 1:17 - "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."  Matthew 5:6 - "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.  Deuteronomy 28:12 - "The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands." Psalm 112:3 - "Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever."

Ep.10 4 Ways To Fight Temptation
Temptation is something we all have to battle with on the daily. Today we are discussing 4 ways to fight temptation. "peirasmos," ((pi-ras-mos) which can mean trial, test, affliction, trouble, attempt,  or temptation. This term emphasizes the idea of being tested in faith and character.   Scriptures used for this episode:   James 1:12-18 NLT New Living Translation 12 God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. 13 And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong,[a [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%201%3A12-18&version=NLT#fen-NLT-30240a]] and he never tempts anyone else. 14 Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. 15 These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. 16 So don't be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens.[b [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%201%3A12-18&version=NLT#fen-NLT-30244b]] He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.[c [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%201%3A12-18&version=NLT#fen-NLT-30244c]] 18 He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.[d [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%201%3A12-18&version=NLT#fen-NLT-30245d]] James 1:13-14 NIV he writes "And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me."   Matthew 26:41 NIV "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." Galatians 5:24-25 KJV And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.   Ephesians 6:11-12 - "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." James 4:7 - "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Please check out the God Inspired Her Blog [https://www.godinspiredher.com]

Ep.9 It's Pruning Season
God's pruning process is a way for God to help us mature in Christ and live the life He created for us. He wants us to become more like Jesus Christ and bear good, spiritual fruit. The process can be painful as God removes wordly attitudes and fleshy habits. With this pain comes life lessons, unwavering faith, and a life of ripe, sweet fruit.    Kathairo-Greek word meaning to "cleanse" or "make clear", "purify" Scriptures used in this episode: John 15:1-3 NIV "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunesa]">[a [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=john%2015&version=NIV#fen-NIV-26702a]] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Hebrews 12:1 NIV "throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles" CORRECTION -I stated the verse wrong in the episode. It's Isaiah 5:7 NIV I will sing for the one I love     a song about his vineyard: My loved one had a vineyard     on a fertile hillside. 2 He dug it up and cleared it of stones     and planted it with the choicest vines. He built a watchtower in it     and cut out a winepress as well. Then he looked for a crop of good grapes,     but it yielded only bad fruit. 3 "Now you dwellers in Jerusalem and people of Judah,     judge between me and my vineyard. 4 What more could have been done for my vineyard     than I have done for it? When I looked for good grapes,     why did it yield only bad? 5 Now I will tell you     what I am going to do to my vineyard: I will take away its

Ep.8 Living In"If"
Have you ever found yourself doubting Jesus' promises in the Bible? Not believing that God is here you? Will never forsake you? Do you think your problems are bigger than God? Living in a state of "if" will cause anxiety and confusion in every moment of your life. It's not if God will bless you, it's WHEN.  Scriptures in this episode: Mark 9:23 NIV- "Everything is possible for one who believes." James 1:6-8 NLV- "But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed to the wind. Such people should not expect to recieve anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable at everything they do." Hebrews 11:1 NIV- "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."   Show me some love and sprinkle me with some stars and review!   Janice

Ep.6 Are You Martha or Mary?
The enlighting stories of sisters Mary and Martha have so many life lessons weaved in between the words of the Bible, I can make multiple episodes about these two. Their relationship with each other and with Jesus teaches a mutlitude about faith and hope.  In this episode we will go DIG (Deeper In God) and get into if you are Martha: too busy to slow down and enjoy God's presence and cultivate a close bond with God.  Or Mary who according to Jesus "chose the better part." Bible scriptures used in this episode: Luke 10:40-42 NIV "But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made.
