When we recorded this podcast, it was International Women's Day, Friday 8th March 2024 and we giggled over how we had both spent our day... working. A privledge for many women many years ago. This podcast series celebrates women from across the region of Marlborough, New Zealand who are leading their worlds as environmental guardians. Michelle Barry wears many hats as a student, as a researcher, as an entrepreneur and business owner and is passionate about nature, life on land and particularly the regenerative movement that is being activated below the ground to support bio-diverse and healthy eco-systems to support our farmers, growers and communities.

Lior is committed to creating cities that make people smile and inspire people for a better urban future. As we know, we are living in challenging times and cities play a central role in the future of humankind and are hubs for positive change. They can foster sustainable presence and better futures. From moving people beyond A to B, through planning for cycling and walking to creating healthy cities for young and old. Humankind create visions and turn them into actions. We were inspired by Humankind’s AI for urban inspiration ‘Touch of Dutch’ to transform streets all over the globe with rich wildlife corridors, expansive green’ness’, human centred, low emissions spaces with extensive bicycle infrastructure. Bev Doole is leading our new series of podcast celebrating environmental guardians in our Marlborough, New Zealand community.  As a former journalist, Bev is a curious woman, always asking lots of thought provoking questions and wanted to give nature its very own voice.  Through her mahi at Marlborough Environment Awards, Bev uses her journalism skills to uncover all sides of the story.  She has a big vision for Marlborough’s future aligned to creating diverse landscapes and recalls a story from her youth at Marlborough Girls College mapping the landscapes that will remind us what we can achieve.  Bev knows that we can achieve more by working together and has a number of strong calls for action to work as a collective force for nature.  Are you ready to repaint New Zealand’s prosperous future? Latesha spent her life being home schooled which gave her a lot of time to spend reading and read many great books about global entrepreneurs and their stories. So success for Tesh became about being an entrepreneur and to create financial abundance.
