As a screenwriter, he has scripted a dozen feature films and several prize-winning shorts, rewritten many more, and has scripted comedy material for John Cleese, Mike Myers, Leslie Nielsen, Chris Rock, Steve Coogan, Will Ferrell, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jack Black, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and numerous other comic talents.
