The guys decide to switch up the format this week as they cover the Atlanta Falcons. They discuss the Eagles game in depth. Going in depth on the glaring hole at the LG spot as rookie Jalen Mayfield had a historically horrific performance. The gang talked about one of the bright spots of the game, which was the Falcons' backfield, as it was one of the biggest questions that we had going into the season. They graded Matt Ryan's game performance and talked about the receivers' performance as well. Lastly, they finished the episode with a preview of this Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

The gang opened up this episode with college football talk.  They dove into their favorite schools' games and their potential futures as Miami, UGA, and FSU were all a part of the games of the week. Then they dove deep into Falcons football as the NFL starts this week. They do a breakdown of the Falcons' potential positive and negative matchups against the Eagles in the first game. This week on the layup, the guys discuss what the Sixers would offer for Steph Curry. Then they dive into the legacy of Z-Bo and Tony Allen in Memphis, and how Minnesota only acknowledges their legends posthumously. They discuss Earl "the Pearl" Monroe's new school. Lastly, the fellas discuss the media money dispute between the Baltimore Orioles and the Nationals, and they finish with the Braves' incendiary infield bats as they become the 2nd team in MLB history with 25+ HRs this season.

The guys open this episode up with some NFL talk. They cover Ja'Marr Chase's screw up, how Cam got scammed by the Pats, and Justin Fields' "Welcome to the NFL" moment. Next, they kick off the Falcons segment by announcing the Josh Rosen signing after AJ McCarron's season ending injury. Then they discuss the second preseason game against the Dolphins and discuss the positives and negatives that they saw. The segment ends with a breakdown of the depth at the WR/TE group. Next up, the guys come out of the gate in the Suicide Squeeze with a discussion of how the lack of a salary cap hurts baseball. Also, they discuss how the Braves broke their winning streak against the Yankees. The Braves change the game by being the first MLB team to sponsor two college athletes for the NIL. Hilariously, they are using these athletes to help promote ticket sales because they're "motivated self starters." For the Basketball segment, the fellas start off with their favorite memories of the late, great Kobe Bryant. Then, they talk about how Nerlens Noel is suing Rich Paul after playing himself looking for a 100 million dollar contract. Lastly, Bleacher Report finally acknowledge has the best young roster in the NBA.

First and foremost, the NFL season is here. The guys talk about the NFL as teams are going hard in camp right now. They discussed the Hall of Fame game and this year's HOF class. The guys talked a lot about Falcons football and the potential for the current roster. Baseball talk was short, but the guys discuss the record number of all-star caliber players that were traded at the deadline as well as the Braves' new moves. They also discuss the Braves finally surpassing the .500 mark after a whopping 109 games played as well as their record for mediocrity this season. The crew introduced a behind the scenes member in Brice and his new college football segment. Lastly, the guys talk basketball. They talk NBA, Olympics, and most importantly, Hawks Basketball, as the home team has managed to return most of the team from this past season.
