There are many, many “influencers” in social media since about ⅔ of the world are online. Jesus told us we are the salt and the light of the world. That is not something we achieve, it's who we are in Christ. So how influential are salt and light - how influential are we actually? Join us!
Nobody likes to be persecuted. However, Christians are the #1 persecuted group in the world today. Yet, Jesus said we're to rejoice and be glad. Is persecution for following Christ in my life inevitable? How can I deal with it? Where does the joy and gladness come from so I can honor Christ with my life? Come together with us as we aim to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. The reward is great!
Making peace can be difficult, and sometimes seeking to make peace even creates more or different conflicts. How does this all work? What is the peacemaker to do, or not to do? What does it mean to be a peacemaker? One thing for sure, our world NEEDS peacemakers. Join us!

Living for the Lord is certainly an adventure if we're willing to follow and obey everything Jesus taught us. When we do obey the Lord, our faith in the Lord will grow as well. God is at work! Sometimes it's clear what God wants us to do, and sometimes God leaves that up to our discernment. In either case, putting God's will and plans first and foremost is key as Joseph's life and actions teach us. With that come both blessings and sufferings for Christ's sake as well. What's in a name? We know nicknames inherently mean something, but given names in our culture usually don't get our attention. In Scripture, given names often have meaning and importance we're supposed to notice. Jesus, Christ and Immanuel are all listed and are important in Matthew's gospel and our lives today.
