When Laura Sylvester was diagnosed with an eating disorder in 2009 she didn't know where to turn for help. When she had her last hospital admission in 2019, that's when she knew something needed to change—her life depended on it.
She went inwards and focused on cultivating self-love, compassion and acceptance, and that's what saved her life.
Today, Laura is a holistic self-love and empowerment coach for women, trauma informed breathwork facilitator and hypnotherapist. It's Laura's mission to guide women back home to themselves and their truth, beneath the layers of conditioning and societal pressure, helping them to gain confidence, learn to love themselves unconditionally, and finally live life on their own terms. Laura is based in the UK and holds women's circles, workshops and retreats.
In this episode of the Finally Thriving podcast, you'll hear Laura's powerful story from surviving to thriving.
