“Buy Now and Pay No Interest for 6-months, or a year,” sounds like an easy way to get what you want, and save on interest. But Rob West warns if you don’t pay off the entire balance by the time it’s due, you’ll owe every dime of back interest! Better to save and pay cash.

Credit cards may be helpful for earning reward points, but Rob West points out that many folks end up making late payments and are charged fees that blow out those rewards. Play it safe - pay off your credit card every month!

Many listeners ask, “Are we still under the law to tithe?” Or— “Can I give my tithe to a different church or ministry?” Rob West will explain from Acts 2 & 4 that our first fruits should go to the local church.

The next time God gives you a surplus, ask him how you should use it. Perhaps you should give it away, or save it for a future need, or some combination of both.

How can we be content? By knowing we “can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us.” No matter what happens with the economy, finding our strength in God— and trusting Him— is the key to contentment.

Is it possible to give too much? Rob West says you might be surprised. And when we give as we’re able, with wisdom and integrity, God uses those gifts to care for His people and advance His Kingdom.

Keep a 30-day list. Jot down everything you see and want to buy— but don’t absolutely need— and the date. Purchase only essentials during that time. When the 30 days are up … chances are you won’t want the item any longer … and you get to keep your money.

We all want to enjoy God’s blessings when we’re faithful— but we don’t always want to accept his correction when we fall short. His financial principles are wise— but they’re also practical. When you obey Him— you generally prosper.

Wise stewardship isn’t just about managing money well—it’s about revealing God’s generosity to a world searching for true life. Rob West encourages us to view our finances through the lens of faith, then it becomes a testimony of His goodness and grace.
