Allah then raised a great storm as a sign of his anger with Jonah. The sailors, realizing that Jonah's disobedience had caused the storm, threw him overboard in an attempt to save their boat.

the Hud-hud arrived to Solomon's court, saying "I have compassed (territory) which thou hast not compassed, and I have come to thee from Saba' with tidings true." The Hoopoe further told Solomon that the people of Sheba worshiped the Sun, but that the woman who ruled the Kingdom was highly intelligent and powerful. Solomon, who listened closely, chose to write a letter to the land of Sheba, through which he would try to convince the people of Sheba to cease in worshiping the Sun, and to come to the worship of God

Korah led a revolt against Moses; he died, along with all his co-conspirators, when Allah caused "the earth to open her mouth and swallow him and all that appertained to them"

Jochebed is commanded by God to place Moses in an ark and cast him on the waters of the Nile, thus abandoning him completely to God's protection. The Pharaoh's wife Asiya, not his daughter, found Moses floating in the waters of the Nile. She convinced the Pharaoh to keep him as their son. Moses' mission to invite the Pharaoh to accept God's divine message as well as give salvation to the Israelites.

The harsh reality of life can sometimes knock us down. But the life of Yousuf A.S., demonstrates Allah's ability to transform underserved adversities into a positive result. God is in control even when it seems that your world is out of control.

Whether it was homosexuality or another transgression, such as the act of inhospitable behavior towards visitors, the act of sexual assault, the oppression of marginalized groups, murder, theft, adultery, idolatry, power abuses, the oppression of the poor, or prideful and mocking behavior, that was the principal reason for Allah's destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

It is mentioned that Ibrahim (AS) experienced a dream one night, in which Allah (SWT) told him to sacrifice Ismail (AS), his beloved son. At first, Ibrahim (AS) believed this was the devil playing tricks on him and he immediately disregarded it. However, the following night, the same dream occurred again commanding him to do the same. Ibrahim (AS) then came to realise that this was no fluke and was, in fact, a message from Allah (SWT)

So they hamstrung the she-camel, and were insolent toward the command of their lord and said, “O Salih, bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the messengers.” So the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home (corpses) fallen prone.

And as for Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming violent windstorm which Allah imposed on them for seven days and eight nights straight. So you could see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.

Prophet Nuh (PBUH) found favour in the eyes of the Lord thus, when God beheld the corruption of the earth and determined to destroy it, he gave Nuh (PBUH) divine warning of the impending disaster and made a covenant with him, promising to save him and his family.
