East of Montreal in the Big Smoke

You probably don't think of downtown Toronto when you hear "kitchen party", but that is exactly what the ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) holds each spring at The Pilot, an iconic Yorkville tavern that dates back to World War 2.

The beer flows, PEI oysters are plentiful and investors, entrepreneurs and deal makers from George Street to Bay Street converge. People you might expect to bump into Uptown Saint John or in Halifax's pedways are there mingling with Bay Street locals - many of whom have East Coast connections themselves.  As the evening goes on, the conversation picks up, introductions are made and, sometimes, the groundwork for a deal is laid.

Join Tidal Venture Partner's Chris Crowell and Ian Whytock on road as they take in the ACG Kitchen Party and chat with Randy Williamson (Aird & Berlis), Vaughn MacLellan (DLA Piper), Jeff Wigle (Banyan Capital Partners) and Jillian Murray (Doane Grant Thorton) about the kitchen party and the state of M&A in Atlantic Canada.
