Phil Basehart, master Earthship builder and academy instructor will be sharing all of the projects that Earthship Biotecture worked on in 2020 and looking forward to what we will be doing in 2021.
This webinar is focused on Earthship Biotecture’s projects in Haiti. Team leader, master earthship builder, Phil Basehart goes in depth about how we work with the Haitian community and build structures there in the past, what we are doing presently with a Haitian primary school, and our goals for the future within Haiti.
Michael Reynolds, Earthship Garbage Warrior breaks down the massive amount of laws and regulations and permitting requirements to show how suppressed humanity is with regard to off-grid, independent, autonomous living.

We have established "the art of leaning" as a method to take us to a state of mind from which we can get grasp of the concept of "non-local awareness". The more the art of leaning is understood and actually applied, the greater our chances of experiencing non-local awareness on something other than just an intellectual level.

From the top of a mountain ridge, one gets a more all encompassing view of the approach to life in the lower lands below. The unique enlightenment gained from this type of view is unattainable without somehow getting oneself up to the Ridgeline of the mountains to experience it.

There has been talk of being detached from our physical surroundings - that maybe it is more “spiritual” to be less attached to the physical plane. This type of thinking has exposed the planet we live on to neglect and abuse by humanity. How can we be enlightened beings on an abused planet?

A word about magic. Real magic is neither a manipulation nor has power over anything. It is an alignment with power - the power of natural, unarguable phenomenon. Human can achieve this alignment only by 'stepping' out of dogma.

Living in earthships provides security and safety via off-grid, sustainable designs and systems. Keep the building warm in the winter and cool in the summer with little to no utility bills / fossil fuels. This increases both psychological and physiological comfort.
Virtualizing our services and focusing on providing education of radically sustainable buildings online. We are still building at Earthship Headquarters! The Nightly Rentals and Visitor Center are both closed until May.
We are not letting go of our staff and crew. Living and doing business in an earthship gives us a head-start. We are constantly figuring out how to keep people sheltered, fed and paid.
Earthships make it easier.
An Earthship is a type of passive solar house that is made of both natural and upcycled materials (such as earth-packed tires). Earthships can be completely off-grid or partially off-grid.
Earthships can be built in any part of the world, in any climate (with a permit) and still provide electricity, potable water, contained sewage treatment and sustainable food production.
Whatever temperature goes into an Earthship, it will hold… and since it is also a Passive Solar House, it is also very tight and interacts only with the sun and the earth for heating and cooling, providing stable comfort year round in any climate.

We are doing what a lot of people are doing around the world. We want to share our thoughts on how it is affecting the Earthship Company.
We are seeing that because most of us live in Earthships, we are safe and secure but we do not produce enough food, so we are focusing on increasing food production. Off-grid, utility free.
The topic of mind and matter has been covered in many books for many years by physicists and philosophers and mystics. It is not the aim of this chapter to simply represent the already existing thought that mind and matter could or possibly do meet. It is, however, necessary to briefly discuss this thought in an effort to establish a frame of reference near the extremities of existing dogma from which we can get the best possible “view” of the material presented in the following chapters.

Unarguable Phenomenon. Slipping out of the game (the dogmas of the swarm of humanity) is necessary in order t move out of a limiting reality and on to a more expanded view of ourselves and how we relate to the Universe.

Humanity. the Bible says that humanity was 'created' in the 'image of God.' Science says that humanity 'evolved' from tiny organic creatures in the early waters of the planet...

New Mexico residents are trying to a break free from Los Alamos’ nuclear legacy by creating more environmentally sound ways of living. At the forefront of this struggle is renegade architect Michael Reynolds, creator of radically sustainable living options through a process called “Earthship Biotecture.” Reynolds’ solar homes are created from natural and recycled materials, including aluminum cans, plastic bottles and used tires. These off-the-grid homes minimize their reliance on public utilities and fossil fuels by harnessing their energy from the sun and wind turbines. In Taos, New Mexico, Reynolds gives us a tour of one of the sustainable-living homes he created.
