It was just an exhibition, just his first game ever against fellow collegians, but Cameron Boozer looked like a truly special player as Duke pulled away in the second half to beat Central Florida 96-71. On Tuesday afternoon, Duke landed the first recruit of the class of 2026, 6-5 wing Bryson Howard. The son of former Wake Forest star Josh Howard was down to Duke, Kentucky, and UNC but he chose the right shade of blue in the end. Howard is an elite defender and a light-out long-range shooter. He shot up the recruiting rankings over the summer and now finds himself knocking on the door of the top 10.
