Enjoyed my time with Dr. Luke Stamps! He was a gracious guest and thoroughly enjoyed having him on. I hope some of my comments here can contribute to an ongoing conversation.
Dr. Luke Stamps joins me in this episode to discuss Baptist Catholicity. How do Baptists understand their place in the tradition? What does "catholicity" mean and how do Baptists see themselves as catholic? How is the Baptist tradition in continuity and discontinuity with the early church fathers?
This was an interview, not a debate. The goal was to seek to understand how Baptists see themselves, it was not a critical analysis of the Baptist tradition from a Catholic perspective.

How does Christ atone for our sins? Does He take on the wrath of God? Does He appear as a damned sinner before the Father? Is Penal Substitutionary Atonement true?
Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies and types. Jesus is the true Prophet, Priest, and King who has come to save God's people from their sins.
This episode will seek to answer the following questions. How are Jesus and Adam pre-fall different? Was Jesus' human nature graced? Did Jesus know all things? Was Jesus free to sin? Are Jesus' temptations like ours?
This episode is our first episode on Christology talking about the constitution of the God-man. This episode will look at the early Christological developments and heresies involved as the Church sought to answer the question - Who is Jesus?
This episode will cover the creation of man and the fall - What does it mean that humans are made in God's image? What are the powers of the rational soul? Were Adam and Eve created in a state of grace? How has sin impacted human nature?
This episode is about Divine Revelation - what it is, how it is transmitted, and its purpose. The answers to these question will provide part of the framework for understanding the nature of the Church's authority.
