1995 - The baseball world was in turmoil, as the year began with the players strike in full force. It would be a bumpy road along the way, with the President and Congress getting involved, a salary cap, and replacement players, but we would eventually get baseball, and Dodger fans had reason to come back - Hideo Nomo.

1993 - After the disastrous 1992 which saw the team lose 99 games, the front office was stuck between a rebuild and a retool, with the big contracts of Strawberry, Hershiser, and Butler on the books, and the exciting talent of Karros, Piazza, and Martinez on the horizon? 1992 - Despite coming one game away from the playoff the year before, 9 free agents was going to make this a season of change, so GM Fred Claire took the big gamble - trading pitcher Tim Belcher for superstar outfielder Eric Davis. But would the gamble pay off?
