In this episode, we discuss some of our favorite things we did in October to celebrate the spooky season. Then, in our Tales from the Table this week, we have resummoned the game Orléans by Reiner Stockhausen from our Jester's Shelf of Cardboard Curiosities, but this time with The Plague expansion. We discuss our experiences re-playing the base game and then playing through with the new expansion multiple times. Will this game be promoted to our Shelf of Jester Cheer now that we have played it at least 10 times and it has been in our collection at least a year?
Finally, we offer an update on Wyrmspan after a few plays and reveal whether it will move on to face the trials of the JESTER'S GAMBIT (10x10 challenge)...or be cast aside at the fool's crossing, never to return.

Note: We had a few microphone input issues during recording, so the audio quality is a bit off this time, but we hope you still enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed making it!
🎉 It’s our ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Dice Jesters! 🎉
To celebrate, we revisited every game from our Season One 10x10 Challenge. We looked back at why we originally chose to keep or trade each title — and for the ones we kept, we gave them another play to see if they still deserve a spot on our shelves.
So after a full year, which games held strong, and which ones are getting the boot? Which titles will earn a place on the coveted Jesters’ Shelf of Good Cheer?
Games discussed: Azul, Dominion, Sagrada, San Juan, Century: Golem Edition, Carcassonne, Canvas, Space Base, Targi, and The Quacks of Quedlinburg.
