With Juneteenth upon us we are re-releasing this episode in remembrance to victims of a horrible event fueled by hate that was blown out of proportion. With an estimated 100-300 dead from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, this 18 hour long blood bath left the city of Tulsa, OK. severely damaged to years to come. With April having such an unfortunate and packed history this month was split into two episodes. This episode focuses on the latter half (15-30). A truly tragic and unsettling two weeks throughout history. August 1, 1966, the horrific and gruesome shooting at the University of Texas took place. Former Marine, Charles Whitman took the lives of 15 people and wounded 31 others during the 96 minute assault. As we are just past the 55 year anniversary of this fateful day we remember every victim including Whitman's own family who like many were unsuspecting and taken too soon.
